Rachel Fuda announced she was pregnant on the August 11, 2024, The Real Housewives of New Jersey special “Off the Rails.” She later gave birth to her son, Lorenzo Antonio Fuda, on February 19, 2025. So the announcement is historical—not a current pregnancy update.
When did Rachel Fuda announce her pregnancy?
The reveal came at the end of Bravo’s “Off the Rails” special, which aired August 11, 2024. As the cast toasted “to life,” Melissa Gorga said, “There’s a lot of life to be had.” Fuda followed with, “…Considering I’m pregnant!” Jennifer Fessler, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral, and Gorga were present; Cabral responded, “I had a dream!” Bravo’s report on the reveal recapped the moment.
How did Rachel tell her family?
In an interview published August 12, 2024, Fuda said she surprised her husband, John, with a Chanel box as a decoy. Inside were a baby outfit and ultrasound photos. After he understood the gift, John told their daughters they were going to be big sisters. Fuda said Jaiden caught on quickly when they shared the news over dinner. She described the announcement and the family’s reaction to Bravo, saying, “Our hearts are exploding!”
Who was in the family before the baby arrived?
At the time of the announcement, the household included Jaiden, Rachel’s teenage son, and daughters Gianella Jolie and Giuliana Rose. Bravo’s August 2024 report said Fuda had begun the process of legally adopting Jaiden during Season 13; that report does not establish the adoption’s later legal status. In her interview, Fuda said she had first shared the pregnancy news only with family and close friends, and that concealing her growing bump had been challenging.

What happened after the announcement?
Rachel and John had not chosen a name when she spoke to Bravo in August 2024. She said she was open to a name beginning with a “G” or “J” sound but had not started considering options. Their son was later named Lorenzo Antonio Fuda. Bravo reported that he was born February 19, 2025, and that Rachel announced his arrival two days later, on February 21. Bravo’s birth announcement quoted her calling the family “a beautiful circle of six hearts” and saying, “Our hearts are fuller, our home is brighter — our baby boy is here, and I am so grateful to be a mother again.”
