Julianne Moore shared a makeup-free selfie in a black bikini top as part of an Instagram carousel captioned “August” on August 12, 2025, according to Us Weekly. The photo was one moment in a broader collection of summer snapshots, not a skincare announcement.
What Julianne Moore’s bikini selfie showed
Us Weekly described Moore, then 64, smiling without makeup, with freckles visible across her nose and cheeks. Her copper hair was pulled back, with wet strands resting over her shoulders. The swimsuit was described as a black bikini top with a scoop neckline and thin straps.
The outlet reported that Moore captioned the August 12, 2025 carousel “August.” The original Instagram post was not directly inspected for this account, so these details are attributed to the outlet’s report.
The selfie was part of a larger August roundup
The carousel included everyday summer moments beyond the selfie: a screenshot of Moore’s Wordle stats, a birthday tribute to her dog Hope, an evening sunset and a caprese salad, according to PEOPLE’s report republished by AOL.

The bikini’s brand has not been identified
The available reporting describes the top’s appearance but does not identify its brand or model. A search for a similar look could use terms such as “black scoop-neck bikini top with thin straps,” but a matching retailer listing should not be presented as Moore’s exact swimsuit.
