Matt Rossi did not join the cast
Jenn’s ex-boyfriend Matt Rossi asked to join the season, but she declined. He was not one of the 25 announced contestants and should not be counted among those eliminated. TV Insider’s guide distinguishes his situation from the contestants’ departures.

Jonathon’s departure left Devin Strader and Marcus Shoberg competing for Jenn’s final rose. Jenn explained that she felt her relationships with Devin and Marcus had reached a different level, and said she did not want to string Jonathon along. TheWrap’s August 27, 2024 interview reported her explanation.
In the September 3, 2024 finale, Jenn chose Devin and they became engaged. During the live After the Final Rose special, she said Devin had ended the relationship in August. The finale therefore records her choice on the show, not an ongoing engagement after the broadcast.
Season and premiere context
ABC announced 25 men competing for Jenn Tran’s final rose and scheduled the season premiere for July 8, 2024, with streaming on Hulu the following day. Those are the original 2024 release details, not confirmation of present-day streaming availability. ABC’s Season 21 announcement gives the cast and premiere information; ABC also maintains a show page and season archive.
