Scheana Shay says in her memoir that Brock Davies confessed to having an affair while she was pregnant with their daughter. In a July 2025 podcast conversation, Davies acknowledged a sexual affair, described it as lasting about three weeks, and apologized. Those public statements establish what the two said; they are not independent verification of every private detail.
What Scheana Shay revealed in her memoir
In My Good Side, Shay writes that Davies told her he had cheated during her pregnancy. Her account places the affair in 2020, when they were living in San Diego during the pandemic and expecting their daughter, Summer. Shay describes the affair as brief and says Davies told her he had reconnected with someone he knew before their relationship.
Shay writes that Davies said he was scared about becoming a father again. She also says she learned more details from a letter he gave her. These details are Shay’s account of their private conversations, as presented in the memoir—not independently established facts about Davies’s motives or the other person’s identity.

When Scheana says she found out
Shay says Davies confessed later, in a conversation between the filming of Vanderpump Rules seasons 10 and 11. Bravo describes that conversation as taking place at Easter. The confession, as Shay recounts it, came after the 2020 affair—not during the pregnancy itself.
What Brock Davies said about the affair
On July 25, 2025, Davies discussed the affair on Shay’s podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay. Bravo reports that he called it a “sexual affair,” said there was no dating or courting, and described sex happening multiple times over a three-week span. He also said he had minimized what happened.

Davies apologized to Shay and said, “I’m proud of you for telling your story. And I’m sorry for this being a part of your story.” Bravo reported his podcast response.
How Davies explained his state of mind
In the same podcast conversation, Bravo reports, Davies said, “I apologize for even saying that,” before explaining that he had been scared about becoming a parent again and believed he was a bad dad. That is his stated explanation, not an independently established cause of the affair or an excuse for it.

Why Shay shared the story later
Shay said she had held back parts of her experience because she worried that telling her story might seem to take attention away from someone else’s situation. She also said she needed time before discussing the affair. According to Bravo’s reporting, Davies later told her that if she included it in the book, she should tell the whole story. The memoir became the setting for her disclosure; its account is not separate corroboration of the events.

The public record described in the reporting is an account-and-response: Shay’s memoir gives her narrative and chronology, while Davies’s later remarks acknowledge a sexual affair, provide his description of its duration, and include an apology. The person Shay says Davies reconnected with is not named in the sources cited here. There is no basis in those reports to identify that person or speculate about them.
