Geography and local context
A secondary overview of Piryaloi describes the town as near the Indus River and Sukkur Barrage. It also characterizes the surrounding context as predominantly agrarian and names date palms and mangoes among regional products. Those descriptions provide broad context, but they are not measurements or findings in the PBS locality table.
What is the reported origin of the name Piryaloi?
The same secondary overview says the name was formerly rendered “Piryanloi” and gives its meaning as “land of the beloved.” It links the name to Syed Saleh Shah Bukhari Naqvi, described there as a 17th-century dervish. This is a reported local-history account, not independently established etymology.

What the available sources do not establish
The census table establishes the locality’s administrative placement and reported population indicators. The secondary overview supplies contextual descriptions and a name-origin account. These sources do not establish current visitor services, transport access, local business availability, or tourism infrastructure, so those details should not be inferred from the town’s census entry or regional descriptions.
