Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show set a record for cross-platform views: Apple Music, the NFL and Roc Nation said it drew 4.157 billion views in its first 24 hours across global broadcast, YouTube and social platforms. That is not a count of 4.157 billion unique people—or a record U.S. television audience. NBC Sports reported an average of 128.2 million U.S. viewers for the halftime performance, below the previous halftime-show record.
What record did Bad Bunny’s halftime show set?
The headline record is a 24-hour, cross-platform total. In a joint announcement on March 2, 2026, Apple Music, the NFL and Roc Nation reported 4.157 billion views for the February 8 performance across global broadcast, YouTube and social platforms. The announcement does not establish that those views represent unique individuals, and its public description does not fully explain how viewing was deduplicated or measured. NBC Sports separately reported four billion social views in the first 24 hours, a 137% year-over-year increase, citing Ripple Analytics. NBC described social consumption as including fans, owned platforms, broadcast partners and influencers. This rounded social figure and the 4.157-billion cross-platform total have different stated scopes; the available announcements do not provide a common methodology for treating them as directly comparable. Did Bad Bunny set the most-watched U.S. halftime-show record?
No—not by the U.S. television average reported for the halftime window. NBC Sports said the show averaged 128.2 million U.S. viewers from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. ET. The Associated Press reported that this was short of the existing halftime-show record. This 15-minute U.S. TV audience measure is distinct from both the global 24-hour views and the broader social-consumption total. Associated Press audience report

Game-wide audience figures should not be confused with the halftime average. The AP reported a 124.9 million average for Super Bowl LX in its February 11 coverage; NBC Sports’ release, updated February 19, gave a 125.6 million game average. NBC also reported a game peak of 137.8 million viewers in the second quarter, not during halftime. Each figure describes a different measurement and should remain attributed to its source and report date.

What changed for Bad Bunny’s music after the performance?
Apple said Bad Bunny listening on Apple Music rose sevenfold immediately after the show. The platform’s Daily Top 100 Global chart included 24 of his songs, nine in the Top 25 and six in the Top 10; “DtMF” reached No. 1. On February 9, Bad Bunny’s album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS appeared on album charts in 155 countries, reached the Top 10 in 128 and ranked No. 1 in 46, according to the joint announcement. The release does not describe these as an overall market-wide sales or streaming ranking.
Apple also reported that the February 5 press conference had more than 63 million views in its first 48 hours, including its livestream and social clips. The March 2 joint announcement later described that press conference as having 68 million views. Because the sources frame the totals differently and give them different timing context, they should not be treated as identical measures.
