The “$15 million” in Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Pacific Palisades home story refers to the reported 2018 price of the parcel—not the value of the finished mansion or a completed sale. The couple demolished the existing house and built a custom residence at 1362 Bella Oceana Vista. In August 2026, the home was back on the market with an asking price of about $19.995 million.
What did Chris Pratt pay for the Pacific Palisades property?
Pratt and Schwarzenegger bought the unfinished parcel in June 2018. Realtor.com reported the purchase price as $15,601,500; Architectural Digest rounded it to $15.6 million. The often-repeated $15 million figure is a rounded version of that land purchase, not a reported price for the custom home as it stands today. (Realtor.com, June 12, 2024; Architectural Digest, August 2026)
The Los Angeles Times identifies the property as 1362 Bella Oceana Vista, Pacific Palisades, California 90272. Reports say the earlier house was demolished and the couple’s custom residence was completed in 2021. (Los Angeles Times, August 7, 2026; Realtor.com, June 12, 2024)
What is inside the mansion?
The Los Angeles Times’ August 2026 tour describes a California-casual interior with natural wood, stone, and large expanses of glass. The great room has a reported 30-foot ceiling and atrium skylight, and the house includes a glass wine cellar. The property is described as gated, on nearly an acre, with ocean and Queen’s Necklace views. These are published tour and listing details, not an independent inspection.
