Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch were reported to earn less before those negotiations, then substantially more in later accounts.
Reported salaries by contract period
These figures come from contemporary entertainment-industry reporting, not publicly released contracts or an audited payroll. Reports describe per-episode fees for particular seasons, not total series earnings.

Why the reported figures differ
The reports reflect negotiations covered at different points in 2017. TVLine described proposed cuts of about $100,000 per episode for the five original stars and raises for Bialik and Rauch; E! News later reported the five at about $900,000 and the two actresses at about $500,000 each. CBS News, attributing its account to Variety, also reported the earlier million-dollar rate and the pay-cut arrangement. Because the underlying agreements were private, the published numbers should be treated as reported deal estimates, not verified contract terms.

What the figures do—and do not—measure
- They are per-episode fees for specified periods. The about-$1-million figure applies to the five named stars during Seasons 8–10; it is not a rate established for the entire run or for every cast member.
- They are not total earnings from the series. A per-episode rate does not disclose how many episodes an actor was paid for, any other compensation, or net worth.
- Annual celebrity-income rankings are not the same as show salary. TIME’s account of Forbes’ 2018 estimates noted income from endorsements and other work alongside show-related earnings: TIME.
- No complete, verified payroll list is established by these reports. The figures cover the named performers and reported contract periods only.
