How Lucy-Bleu Knight was related to Slash
Knight was the daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight. Slash was her stepfather. The family statement identified Scarlet Knight as her sister and London and Cash Hudson as her stepsiblings.

In a release dated August 29, 2024, the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner reported that the cause of death was hydrogen sulfide toxicity and the manner of death was suicide. Those were the county agency’s later findings; the family’s initial announcement did not disclose a cause of death. The Medical Examiner’s release is the official source for the determination.

The county said Knight was found unresponsive at a private residence on July 19 during a law-enforcement welfare check, and her death was pronounced at 1500 hours. A deputy medical examiner examined her on July 22. The cause was certified on August 29, when the department issued its release.
