Caleb and Mariah
Caleb and Mariah found their way back to each other after the experiment and got engaged. Tudum described them as the only original couple to reunite after the experience. In the 2025 update, Mariah said they hoped for a spring or summer 2026 wedding in Hawaii, while noting that plans had been changing. That reported hope does not establish whether they later married or changed their plans.
Scotty and Aria
Scotty proposed to Aria in the finale, but the proposal did not lead to a lasting engagement: Aria called it off shortly afterward. In Tudum’s update, both were listed as single. Aria said the experiment gave her clarity, saying, “I got so many answers in such a short amount of time that I wouldn’t have figured it out for another two years.”

Who did not get engaged, or left before the finale?
J.R. and Zaina
J.R. and Zaina did not get engaged. Their descriptions of what happened after the finale differ: Zaina said they continued exploring the relationship until J.R. ghosted her. J.R. said he told her after the decision that they were broken up, and that she did not accept that at face value. Tudum listed both as single in August 2025.
Vanessa and Dave
Vanessa and Dave left the experiment early rather than reaching the final decision with the other couples. They were later engaged and had bought a home by the time of Tudum’s 2025 update. The article did not report that they had married. Reflecting on leaving, they said, “We truly chose us and our love for one another over everything.”

Tudum described them as appearing to still be in love based on social-media photos, so this was a qualified report rather than a reunion confirmation.
Nick and Sandy
Nick and Sandy’s original relationship ended. Sandy’s trial connection with J.R. did not become a relationship; Sandy said she and J.R. did not have one, and that her focus had been exploring her relationship with Nick. Tudum reported that Nick was dating someone privately and Sandy was single in August 2025.

Tudum’s report is dated August 1, 2025. It is useful for the finale, exits, and the cast’s reported status at that time, but it should not be read as confirmation of their status on October 4, 2026. In particular, the planned 2026 wedding for Caleb and Mariah was a hope stated in 2025; the cited update does not confirm whether it happened.
