There is no confirmed current Xfinity channel number for the Yule Log. If you have an Xfinity X1 Voice Remote, press its voice button and say “Yule Log” to search for the fireplace video. Comcast documented that shortcut in a December 2020 regional holiday guide; check the results on your own box because today’s seasonal listings may differ.
Find the Yule Log on Xfinity X1
- On your Xfinity X1 Voice Remote, press and hold the voice button.
- Say “Yule Log.”
- Choose from the results displayed on your box, if the title is currently available.
Comcast’s December 2020 holiday guide says the command launches a destination with traditional and popular options. That is the most specific official X1 instruction available here, but it does not confirm the destination’s current name, contents, or seasonal availability.

Why you should not tune to a channel number
No current official source confirms a linear channel number for the Xfinity Yule Log. Channel lineups can depend on location and service, so numbers sometimes repeated elsewhere—including 507 or 857—should not be treated as verified Xfinity listings. Use the voice search or your current on-screen guide instead.
Other ways to look for it
Xfinity On Demand
Comcast has offered the Yule Log through Xfinity On Demand in past holiday seasons. A 2010 announcement described the program as a fireplace video with festive holiday music, and a later seasonal listing used the name “Yule Log & More.” These historical examples do not establish a current menu path or prove the title is available now. See Comcast’s 2010 announcement and seasonal listing.

Xfinity Stream
Xfinity Stream is available on supported devices, including Amazon Fire TV, but the service’s general device support does not confirm that the current Yule Log is in its catalog. Whether a program appears can depend on your Xfinity services, location, device, and current content availability. Check the app’s search results rather than assuming the seasonal title is included. Xfinity’s Stream app FAQ and device requirements explain compatibility and access.

The familiar Yule Log is a video of a crackling fireplace accompanied by holiday music. Comcast’s 2011 corporate account says the original television program was created in 1966 by Fred Thrower, then president and CEO of WPIX. That same account describes the familiar format; its history does not determine where Xfinity carries a seasonal version today. Comcast’s 2011 account also reported more than four million On Demand views in the prior holiday season, a historical company-reported figure rather than a current audience measure.
