The official listing describes the collaboration as based on the DW-5600, a signature square-case model in the 5600 series. It links that series to the design lineage of the original G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C, which CASIO says debuted in 1983.
What was the announced price and release date?
The official listing announced an estimated Japan retail price of ¥15,400 including tax and a planned release in early March 2026. A Premium Luna Park product page displays a price of ¥59,800 and describes the watch as a Japan-version exhibition exclusive. That is a third-party seller listing, not an official price or proof of authorized retail status; it should not be treated as a verified current market price.
What specifications are confirmed for this edition?
The collaboration announcement identifies the watch as a DW-5600 but does not give a collaboration-specific manufacturer item code or a complete specification sheet. In particular, it does not confirm that the watch uses the exact configuration of any separately listed DW-5600 reference.

For context only, CASIO Japan’s page for the separate DW-5600E-1 describes that reference as discontinued, with shock-resistant construction, 20-bar water resistance, a resin case and band, and dimensions of 48.9 × 42.8 × 13.4 mm. It lists the DW-5600E-1’s launch as June 1996. These are DW-5600E-1 details, not confirmed specifications for the Ghost in the Shell collaboration.
