There is not enough verified information to compare a streaming product called Airen with cloud hosting. The available evidence does not identify a relevant Airen service, so its features, costs, and compatibility should not be assumed. For a 24/7 YouTube music radio stream, the practical choice is between producing and sending the program from your own equipment, using a cloud relay to distribute a stream you already produce, or using a cloud service that hosts prerecorded playback. Those approaches solve different problems.
What “Airen vs cloud hosting” can—and cannot—tell you
Because Airen has not been identified as a relevant streaming or hosting product, there is no sound basis for a feature-by-feature comparison. Before evaluating a service using that name, confirm its exact spelling and obtain the provider’s product documentation, pricing, and YouTube setup requirements.
“Cloud hosting” is also too broad to describe one specific function. YouTube distinguishes a cloud encoder that receives a high-quality feed and distributes it from the process that creates and plays a program in the first place. A relay does not necessarily supply playlist playout or generate a stream. See YouTube’s simulstreaming guidance.
Three ways to keep a music stream running
Run the playout and encoder locally
A computer or hardware encoder plays the music and sends the resulting feed to YouTube. YouTube’s live-streaming guide describes creating or scheduling a broadcast in Live Control Room, copying the stream URL and key into an encoder, configuring it, and starting the feed. YouTube lists hardware encoders as one encoder option; that does not mean a particular setup is guaranteed to run unattended for 24 hours or to recover automatically after a failure.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Playout: Your software, files, or other source must keep the program playing.
- Encoding and upload: Your equipment and internet connection must continue sending the feed.
- Recovery: You must decide how to restart playback or encoding after a crash, power interruption, or network outage, and how to notice that the stream has stopped.
Use a cloud relay
A cloud encoder can receive an already-produced feed and distribute it to selected destinations or formats. That can move some distribution work off your local system, but it does not by itself prove that the provider will create a music program, maintain a playlist, or restart the source. Confirm whether the service accepts your actual source and whether it includes playout, not merely relay.
Use hosted prerecorded playout
A hosted-playout service can be designed to run prerecorded programming from the provider’s servers rather than from a computer in your home or studio. For example, Stream24’s product page advertises Cloud Pull from a remote URL, direct files, or a radio feed, along with auto-reconnect; these are provider claims, not an independently established uptime record. See Stream24’s product page. Upstream’s guide describes a separate cloud workflow for a prerecorded YouTube radio station intended to run without a local PC; its current plan limits and continuous-use terms should be checked with the provider. See Upstream’s guide.

Compare the jobs before comparing providers
| Question | Local encoder | Cloud relay | Hosted prerecorded playout |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where does playback run? | On your computer or other local source. | At your source; the cloud service receives and distributes its feed. | On the provider’s hosted system, if its product includes playout. |
| Does it create the music-radio feed? | Yes, if your local playout setup is configured to do so. | Not necessarily; a relay distributes a feed that already exists. | Potentially; verify playlist and source support with the provider. |
| What must you verify about failure recovery? | How your player, encoder, power, and connection restart, and how you monitor them. | Whether the relay reconnects to your source and what happens if that source fails. | What the provider restarts automatically, what alerts it sends, and what intervention is required. |
| YouTube connection | Configure the encoder with YouTube’s stream URL and key. | Verify the service’s YouTube destination and stream-key workflow. | Verify the service’s YouTube workflow and whether it supports the required ingest protocol. |
| Costs | Consider hardware, electricity, and internet costs; the sources cited here do not establish a numeric total. | Subscription and plan limits vary; compare the provider’s current terms. | Subscription and plan limits vary; compare the provider’s current terms. |
The available sources do not support a numeric cost or uptime comparison between these approaches. Ask providers about current pricing, continuous-use limits, monitoring, recovery behavior, and support before relying on a service for an always-on channel.
Connect an encoder to YouTube
- Create or schedule the live stream: Open YouTube Live Control Room and create or schedule the broadcast, following YouTube’s encoder setup guide.
- Copy the ingest details: Copy the stream URL and stream key shown in Live Control Room into the corresponding fields in your encoder. Treat the key as a credential: do not publish or share it, and replace it if it is exposed.
- Choose RTMP or RTMPS deliberately: YouTube explains that RTMPS is RTMP over TLS/SSL. To use it, reveal the RTMPS server URL in Live Control Room, enter that URL and the stream key in your encoder, and confirm the encoder supports RTMPS. See YouTube’s RTMPS instructions.
- Configure and start the encoder: Set up the encoder for your broadcast, start sending the feed, and check Live Control Room to confirm YouTube is receiving it before treating the stream as live.
- Plan monitoring and recovery: Decide who or what will detect a failed feed, restart playback or encoding, and confirm that YouTube is receiving the stream again. YouTube’s encoder setup guidance explains connection steps; it does not establish unattended 24/7 operation or automatic recovery for a particular setup.
Plan for long broadcasts, archives, and music rights
Do not rely on a single 24-hour archive
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived in its live-streaming guidance. That statement does not promise that one continuous 24/7 broadcast will be fully archived. If an archive matters, plan around that limit rather than assuming a full-day recording will be available.

Confirm that you have rights to the music
A technical setup does not grant permission to broadcast music. Use recordings and compositions you own or are authorized to stream, and check the applicable rights and YouTube rules for your use. Do not assume that a track is safe to broadcast just because it is available online or because a stream has run without a claim before.
Questions to ask before choosing a cloud service
- Does it host playlist playback from uploaded files, accept a radio feed, relay a remote stream, or offer more than one of these?
- Does the exact service support YouTube Live and the required ingest method, including RTMPS if you need it?
- What happens if the source, playback process, provider server, or YouTube connection drops? What reconnects automatically, and what requires your intervention?
- What monitoring and alerts are included, and who is responsible for noticing a prolonged outage?
- What are the current recurring charges, storage or usage limits, and terms for continuous operation?
- How does the workflow handle broadcasts longer than 12 hours if you also need an archive?
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube service for keeping an uploaded-video stream live from the cloud; it is not a camera broadcast tool. The workflow is to upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. StreamNeo says it automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream, and it streams each upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot rather than quality tiers. The first day is free with no card. Monthly service is $9.99 per month. Read more at StreamNeo, then start your free day.
