To save on Disney+ and Hulu, compare the price you will actually pay at renewal, then choose the ad-supported Duo bundle if you can tolerate ads or the Premium Duo bundle if you want fewer interruptions. If your household rarely uses one service, cancel or downgrade it instead of paying for a bundle just because its headline price looks lower. The U.S. prices below are those displayed on Disney’s Duo page on October 4, 2026; check your account and the live plan page before changing, especially because Disney indicates another price change for billing cycles on or after October 21, 2026.
Compare the bundle’s renewal price with your current bill
Disney’s U.S. Duo page lists a six-month introductory price and a higher regular monthly rate. The offer is not the ongoing price, so compare the renewal amount with what you currently pay for the services you use.

Disney describes the Duo bundle as discounted compared with paying the services’ regular monthly prices separately. That discount only saves your household money if you want both services. See Disney’s current Duo plans and terms. Existing subscribers should check account management for available switches; legacy and third-party-billed accounts may not have the same options.
Disney’s Help Center search result indicates another change for billing cycles on or after October 21, 2026, but its price table did not render. The figures above are not a statement of what rates will apply after that date. Check your account’s renewal amount and the Disney+ plans and prices page before deciding.

Choose based on how your household watches
Keep both services, and ads are acceptable
The ad-supported Duo plan has the lower monthly price. If the household watches both Disney+ and Hulu, compare its regular $12.99 monthly rate with the combined amount you otherwise pay, not just the six-month offer.
Keep both services, but prefer fewer ad breaks
The Premium Duo costs more, with a displayed regular rate of $21.99 per month after the first six months. Disney says its Premium plan removes ads from movies and series, while select live and linear content can still include ads. Decide whether that viewing difference is worth the extra cost to your household.

One service is rarely used
Cancel or downgrade the less-used service rather than buying a bundle that includes something you do not want. Disney+ Premium alone is listed at $21.49 per month or $214.99 per year. Disney says annual billing saves over 16% compared with twelve monthly payments, but this is not a like-for-like alternative to Duo: it does not include Hulu.
Consider other bundles only if you would pay for the extra service
Disney also lists bundles with ESPN or HBO Max. They may make sense when you already want those services; do not count an included service as savings if you would not otherwise subscribe.

Disney says the HBO Max bundles are discounted against separate monthly retail prices and currently have no annual subscription. Check the Hulu bundle page and Disney’s current plan pages before signing up; prices and offers can change.
Check for services already included elsewhere
Before paying separately, check whether another paid package already includes an eligible service. Disney and Charter announced that Disney+ Basic would be included with Spectrum TV Select under a wholesale arrangement. Confirm your current package and eligibility directly with Spectrum before canceling or adding a subscription; package terms can vary.

Disney says U.S. residents and residents of certain U.S. territories can sign up for the Duo bundle. Existing subscribers may be able to switch, but availability depends on the account. If you are billed through a third party or have a legacy plan, verify the options in your account rather than assuming you can move to the displayed offer.

- Open your Disney+ or Hulu account and note the exact plan name, billing arrangement, and next renewal amount.
- Compare the regular bundle rate—not only the first six months—with your current cost and the services your household actually uses.
- If changing plans, check account management for options and read the displayed effective date and billing terms before confirming.
- Record when the introductory period ends and review your bill before the next rate takes effect. Check the live price page again if your renewal is on or after October 21, 2026.
Disney’s Duo page says cancellation during the six-month introductory term takes effect at the end of that term; after it, cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly billing period. Confirm the terms shown for your account before acting.

Treat app integration and perks as extras, not automatic savings
Eligible subscribers can watch a selection of Hulu titles in Disney+, but some Hulu content and Hulu add-ons or Live TV remain in the Hulu app. The integration can make discovery more convenient; it does not by itself lower the bill. Disney has described Hulu profile linking on Disney+.
Disney’s May 2025 announcement included a six-month DashPass offer for new DashPass members, but that historical announcement does not establish that the offer is still available. Check Disney’s Perks information for current terms before treating a perk as part of a savings calculation.
For context, Disney reported 43.7 million subscribers with bundles that included both Disney+ and Hulu as of September 27, 2025. That figure shows the bundles’ scale, not that they are the cheapest choice for every household; compare your own renewal price and viewing habits.
