Spoilers for the Survivor 47 finale: Rachel LaMont won the season, defeating Sam Phalen and Sue Smey in the final vote. The finale, “The Last Stand,” ended with a 7-1-0 result for Rachel and the $1 million prize.
How the two-part finale set up the result
Survivor 47’s finale unfolded across two episodes. “Bob and Weave,” episode 13, was dated December 11, 2024; CBS described it as the first part of the two-part finale, featuring double immunity challenges and double Tribal Councils. The season concluded a week later with episode 14, “The Last Stand,” dated December 18.
The finale’s official CBS synopsis framed the remaining contests around a muddy immunity challenge and a fire-making showdown for a place in the final three. As CBS put it, “The stakes could not be higher at a crucial, muddy immunity challenge. Castaways must spark a win or flame out at a fire-making showdown to earn their way to the final three.”
Fire-making decided who reached the final three
At the final-four threshold, Teeny Chirichillo lost the fire-making challenge and finished fourth. Rachel, Sam and Sue advanced to the final three. The available reporting establishes the outcome, but not a blow-by-blow account of the challenge, so the key recap point is its consequence: Teeny’s exit left the other three to face the season’s final decision.
