Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallCrashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteFor looping prerecorded video on YouTube Live, OBS is the more natural fit of these two. YouTube describes encoder software as computer-based, while IRL Pro’s documentation presents it as an Android mobile broadcaster. That is a workflow-based conclusion, not a hands-on reliability test: neither tool has been tested here for an uninterrupted 24/7 run.
If you want unattended playback without leaving a computer running, a cloud service is a different approach. StreamNeo is one YouTube-only option; YouTube’s encoder directory also lists Gyre for cloud-based 24/7 prerecorded streaming.
IRL Pro vs. OBS: which fits prerecorded playback?
| Question | IRL Pro | OBS |
|---|---|---|
| Documented role | Android mobile broadcaster that sends a live feed over RTMP or SRT. | Computer encoder workflow; YouTube describes encoder software as apps running on a computer. |
| Fit for looping uploaded video continuously | The documentation does not describe IRL Pro as a prerecorded-video looping or playout system. That does not establish that relaying prerecorded media is technically impossible. | The more natural local-computer option for this use case. YouTube’s encoder guidance supports connecting an encoder, but does not establish specific OBS looping controls or 24/7 uptime. |
| Where the stream runs | On an Android device. | On a computer running the encoder. |
| Reliability evidence for a 24/7 run | No comparative uptime or 24/7 test results are established. | No comparative uptime or 24/7 test results are established. |
For YouTube’s general encoder setup, select YouTube as the encoder service or enter the YouTube stream URL and stream key in the encoder. What IRL Pro’s published settings mean
Enhanced IRL documents IRL Pro as broadcasting over one RTMP or SRT connection; it does not bond multiple connections. Its guide gives bitrate caps by service plan and suggests starting examples ranging from 1080p30 to 1080p60. These are Enhanced IRL’s published recommendations, not independent performance findings.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
| Enhanced IRL plan | Published bitrate cap |
|---|---|
| Stream Key Lite | 9,000 kbps |
| Stream Key | 9,000 kbps |
| OBS Basic | 6,000 kbps |
| OBS Standard | 6,000 kbps |
| OBS Pro | 10,000 kbps |
These figures are caps stated in Enhanced IRL’s current guide, not universal YouTube bitrate recommendations. Do not treat the plan names containing “OBS” as evidence that IRL Pro itself is the better OBS substitute; they are service-plan labels in that provider’s documentation. See Enhanced IRL’s IRL Pro broadcast guide for its setup details.
Choosing a practical 24/7 workflow
Choose OBS when you want a local encoder
OBS is the clearer choice between these two when the goal is computer-based encoding and you are prepared to keep and monitor the computer running. The YouTube encoder guidance supports using software on a computer, but the available documentation does not establish a specific OBS playlist configuration, expected resource use, or guarantee of continuous operation. Confirm the exact OBS playback setup and test it before relying on it for a long broadcast.

Choose IRL Pro when your source is a mobile live feed
IRL Pro’s documented strength is its mobile-broadcast workflow. Its documentation does not establish it as a purpose-built system for unattended prerecorded looping. If you are considering it for that purpose, verify the required playback workflow with the provider rather than assuming it behaves like a computer playout system.
Consider cloud playback when the computer should not stay on
YouTube’s verified encoder directory lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded YouTube videos. The listing establishes that it is relevant to this use case; it does not establish current commercial terms or an endorsement. You can also compare StreamNeo, which runs uploaded videos and playlists from the cloud on YouTube: StreamNeo.

Protect the archive separately from the live broadcast
Do not assume a continuous 24-hour broadcast will produce a complete YouTube replay. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, but a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. For a 24/7 channel, plan archive access and DVR/replay separately from live continuity, and keep a local archive backup if you need a dependable copy. See YouTube’s archive guidance.
Rights and monetization risks for documentary programming
Clear rights for every element
YouTube’s livestream terms require live content to comply with its Community Guidelines and require the creator to have the rights needed for worldwide exploitation on Google services, including music licensing rights. A documentary’s footage, soundtrack, photographs, archival clips, and other third-party material may each have separate rights. Confirm that your licenses cover livestreaming, territories, and the intended uses before putting a program into a continuous feed. Read YouTube’s livestream terms.

Do not assume prerecorded streams are automatically ineligible for monetization
YouTube’s monetization policy applies to live streaming as well as other video. A clarification dated July 15, 2025 renamed “repetitious content” as “inauthentic content” to clarify that repetitive or mass-produced material is ineligible under the existing policy. That does not mean every prerecorded stream is categorically demonetized; repetitive programming with little original value can create risk under channel-level monetization review. Review YouTube’s channel monetization policies.

Before you go live
- Confirm the channel is eligible to livestream and that the account’s live-streaming access is enabled; see YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility overview.
- Test the complete playback-to-YouTube path before depending on a long broadcast.
- Plan an archive backup rather than relying on a stream longer than 12 hours to be captured as a complete VOD.
- Check rights for the full program, including music and archival material, and assess whether the channel’s programming adds original value under YouTube’s monetization policies.
