1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo stream IRL on YouTube with IRL Pro, create or select a YouTube live stream, copy its encoder URL and stream key into the Android app, choose a matching protocol, then test while walking the route you plan to stream. IRL Pro’s documented workflow uses one network connection at a time: it does not bond multiple SIMs or connections. Enhanced IRL recommends SRT for street-level broadcasting over a single SIM, but SRT cannot fix dead zones or replace reliable mobile coverage.
Start phone-first. Check speech audio, mobile coverage and the complete stream-key workflow before buying a dedicated encoder. The exact labels and service caps below follow the cited Enhanced IRL documentation, observed in 2026; settings and platform procedures can change.
What you need before going live
- An Android phone running IRL Pro and a mobile connection suitable for the route.
- A YouTube channel able to livestream, with access to YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room.
- The YouTube encoder URL and stream key, copied in full.
- A language you can speak consistently while moving, plus titles and descriptions that match the language of the stream.
YouTube’s encoder workflow uses a Live server URL and stream key. Its guide also describes microphones and other external hardware as optional parts of an encoder setup; they are not prerequisites for a basic phone-only start. See YouTube’s encoder livestream instructions.
Set up YouTube and IRL Pro
- Create or select the YouTube stream. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or select the stream you will use. Find the encoder’s Live server URL and stream key in the stream settings. YouTube’s current guidance is at Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
- Choose the protocol and obtain the matching publish URL. IRL Pro supports RTMP and SRT. In the Enhanced IRL workflow, the SRT publish URL carries the key in its stream ID. Copy the full URL after choosing the protocol and service region; if you change the protocol, region or rotate the key, copy the updated URL rather than reusing the old one.
- Configure IRL Pro. Select the same protocol in the app as the one used by the publish URL, then enter or paste the complete destination URL and key in the relevant stream settings. Check for missing characters or spaces before starting.
- Begin below the service cap. Enhanced IRL’s current documentation lists plan caps of 6,000–10,000 kbps, with example resolutions and frame rates ranging from 720p30 to 1080p60. Those are Enhanced IRL plan limits and examples, not universal YouTube requirements. The guide recommends beginning at half the applicable cap and increasing only if the bitrate stays stable during testing. See Enhanced IRL’s IRL Pro broadcasting guide.
That guide lists “Stream Key Lite” and “Stream Key” at 9,000 kbps, “OBS Basic” and “OBS Standard” at 6,000 kbps, and “OBS Pro” at 10,000 kbps. These are the named service caps in its documentation, not a promise that a moving phone can sustain that bitrate.

Choose RTMP or SRT for a single mobile connection
IRL Pro’s documented Enhanced IRL setup broadcasts over one connection and does not bond connections. Enhanced IRL prefers SRT for street-level broadcasting on one SIM. Neither protocol can make a weak signal strong, and no single bitrate or carrier is dependable across every route in India.
Use the protocol supported by the receiving service and copy the corresponding full publish URL. Do not assume that adding another SIM to the phone means IRL Pro is combining both networks. For multiple connections combined into one stream, the documented alternatives are bonding workflows such as SRTLA with Moblin or BELABOX; these add setup complexity beyond a basic IRL Pro configuration. Enhanced IRL distinguishes those paths in its IRL Pro instructions.

Test the real route before a public stream
- Start with a short test. Confirm that YouTube receives the stream and that both picture and sound are present.
- Walk the intended route. A stationary test only proves the connection at that location. Move through the places you expect to visit and watch the incoming signal or bitrate for drops and instability.
- Reduce bitrate when the feed struggles. Lower it until the stream remains steady while moving; raise it cautiously only after another route test shows it can hold.
- Check speech intelligibility. Listen back for wind, handling noise and traffic masking your voice. Test any microphone in the actual phone-and-app setup before relying on it.
- Check the key workflow again before the event. If the stream key was changed or the service settings were edited, replace the old URL or key in IRL Pro and verify that YouTube receives the new stream.
For a regional-language channel, keep the spoken language and metadata consistent where practical, and plan how you will interact with viewers while moving. The cited setup guidance does not establish that any particular Indian language, carrier or bitrate performs best nationally; route and SIM testing are the useful evidence for your own stream.
Optional gear: buy to solve a tested problem
Microphone
A phone-compatible lavalier or other external microphone may make speech easier to hear, especially outdoors. YouTube lists microphones among typical external hardware for encoder streams, but that does not establish a best model or guarantee compatibility with a particular Android phone. Check the connector, any required adapter, app input behavior and how you will monitor audio before buying.

Power and mounting
A power bank matched to your phone can help with a long outing; a phone mount or tripod is useful if the stream includes stationary scenes. These are category-level options, not requirements or tested product recommendations. A dedicated encoder is a more involved step: it can support external camera or audio workflows, but adds equipment and configuration. A third-party guide discusses BELABOX and LiveU examples at IRLServer’s hardware encoder guide; verify current compatibility and configuration with the manufacturer before purchase.
Copyright, archives and livestream rules
Use material you have the rights to stream, including music, footage and other people’s content. A live broadcast can still raise copyright issues; being outdoors or speaking in a regional language does not change the rights attached to audio or video. YouTube’s encoder guide says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Troubleshooting common setup failures
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube does not receive a stream | Wrong protocol, incomplete URL, mistyped key or stale credentials | Confirm the selected protocol matches the publish URL; re-copy the full URL and current key from the service or YouTube stream settings. |
| Stream starts but repeatedly stalls while walking | Mobile coverage or bitrate is insufficient on that part of the route | Test that route again at a lower bitrate. A successful test while stationary does not establish moving-route stability. |
| Adding a second SIM does not improve the stream | IRL Pro’s documented path sends over a single connection rather than bonding multiple ones | Use one tested connection for this workflow, or investigate a bonding-capable SRTLA workflow separately. |
| Voice is hard to understand | Wind, handling noise, ambient sound or an unsuitable microphone connection | Listen to a test recording or stream; check the phone’s microphone input and adapter, and reposition or add compatible audio gear if needed. |
| Previously working destination stops connecting after an edit | Protocol, region or stream key changed while the app still has the earlier URL or key | Copy the latest full publish URL and credentials into IRL Pro and run a fresh test. |
Or let it run in the cloud
If the goal is a YouTube channel that keeps uploaded video live continuously, rather than a live camera stream while you walk, StreamNeo is a separate option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops uploaded videos in the cloud, so no computer, OBS or home connection has to stay on. It streams to YouTube only, not from a camera.
Each slot supports the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers; it includes 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, and automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream.
