LiveReacting documents a Video Playlist component for a live broadcast and a “Play in loop” option. When looping is on, playback returns to the first video after the last one; when it is off, playback stops at the end of the playlist. This is a playlist inside a live broadcast, not simply a YouTube playlist looping in a viewer’s player.
How LiveReacting’s broadcast playlist loop works
In LiveReacting Studio, a Video Playlist layer lets you add multiple videos to a project and arrange them in sequence. The playlist appears in the project sidebar, where you can manage its items. Enable “Play in loop” to restart at the first video after the final one. Leave it disabled to stop playback after the last item.
LiveReacting’s help article also describes customizing the playlist display, including whether to show a video name and progress bar, and editing names or sorting items. The feature documentation describes both uploading or selecting files and a separate import workflow using a YouTube channel or playlist URL. The reviewed guides do not establish every restriction that might apply to imports, individual videos, accounts, or rights.
Set up a repeating playlist for a YouTube live
- Add the videos. In your LiveReacting project, add a Video Playlist layer. Upload files in bulk or choose files, then confirm which ones belong in the playlist.
- Arrange playback. Put the videos in the order you want them to play. Check the playlist in the project sidebar before going live.
- Choose whether it repeats. Turn on “Play in loop” for continuous repetition. If you want the playlist to play only once, leave looping off; LiveReacting’s help page says you can set the stream duration to the combined duration of the playlist videos.
- Configure the live. Connect your YouTube channel and set the stream details in the live settings. The settings guide’s “Playlists” field is for adding the completed live replay to YouTube playlists after the stream ends, not for choosing the video segments that play during the broadcast.
- Start the broadcast. LiveReacting’s March 10, 2026 tutorial describes uploading several files, arranging them, enabling playlist looping, connecting the YouTube channel, and going live. The vendor describes this as running on cloud servers; that description is not an independently verified uptime guarantee.
Three different things called a YouTube playlist
- LiveReacting broadcast playlist: Video items play sequentially inside a live project, with an optional loop back to the first item.
- YouTube viewer playlist: YouTube Help describes looping a playlist during ordinary playback. That controls what a viewer’s player does; it does not by itself create a live broadcast.
- YouTube playlist for a replay: LiveReacting’s settings guide says a finished live replay can be added to one or more YouTube playlists. That organizes the replay on the channel and is separate from the broadcast playlist.
Scheduling and continuity limits to know
LiveReacting’s scheduling guide describes a “Keep stream progress” option for supported multi-date or repeat schedules, so playlist progress can carry across scheduled lives. The guide says this option is not available for one-time streams. The reviewed documentation describes playlist and scheduling controls, but does not establish guaranteed uninterrupted service or compatibility with every account.
