YouTube Studio can schedule the event, but it will not play sermon recordings by itself. To run a continuous stream, first make sure the church channel is eligible, schedule the event, then send a prerecorded feed through an encoder or a cloud service. Test the feed and clear rights for every recording and any music it contains before sharing the event.
Before you schedule: confirm livestream access and clear rights
Check channel eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had a livestream restriction during the previous 90 days to livestream. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the planned launch. Check the current status in YouTube Studio; do not try to bypass an active restriction by broadcasting through another channel. YouTube’s livestream eligibility guidance and encoder setup help explain the requirements.
Confirm rights to the entire recording
Having a sermon recording does not necessarily mean the church has the rights to broadcast everything in it. Confirm permission for the sermon, music, images, and any other third-party material, including applicable music licensing rights. YouTube’s Livestream terms and conditions make the provider responsible for having the necessary rights to exploit the live content on Google services, including music licensing rights. Resolve any uncertainty before the stream goes live.
Choose a stream format and prepare the recordings
Decide what viewers will encounter
Make a list of the Hindi sermons and decide their order, whether they should repeat, and what viewers should see or hear between recordings. The schedule and the feed are separate: scheduling creates a YouTube event, while an encoder or compatible service must transmit the prerecorded video to it. A continuous channel can offer ambient access, but it is not the same as a set of individually findable sermon videos.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Keep individual sermons accessible
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its DVR guidance warns that rewind may be limited or unavailable for very long streams, including streams longer than 12 hours. A single 24/7 broadcast should not be treated as a dependable archive of every sermon. Keep the original files and publish individual sermon videos or shorter streams if viewers need to find and replay each one on demand. See YouTube’s encoder help and DVR guidance.
Schedule the event in YouTube Studio
-
In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
-
Open the Manage tab and choose Schedule stream.
-
Create a new event or reuse settings from a previous stream. Set its title, description, visibility, and any other available details, then save.
-
Share the event page ahead of time. YouTube says a scheduled stream may appear as upcoming in subscriber feeds, where viewers can select Notify me.
For current controls and event details, use YouTube’s guidance for scheduling a livestream. Scheduling reserves the event; it does not start playback of your sermon files.

Connect a prerecorded feed to the scheduled event
With an encoder you operate
-
Open the event in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and retrieve its stream URL and stream key.
-
Enter those credentials in the encoder’s streaming settings, then select the prepared recording or playlist as its video source. YouTube lists encoder software such as OBS in its encoder guidance. The software or playback setup must be able to send the prerecorded material continuously; creating the event does not supply that function.
-
Treat the stream key like a password: keep it private and reset it if you believe it has been exposed. The key authorizes an encoder to send a feed to the channel.
-
Check the scheduled stream’s auto-start and auto-stop settings rather than assuming they are enabled. YouTube says these options allow a stream to be started or stopped from the encoder.

With a cloud streaming service
A cloud service can operate the continuous feed instead of a computer at the church, but its looping, scheduling, recovery, and YouTube connection capabilities vary. YouTube’s regional encoder guidance mentions cloud-based options for 24/7 prerecorded streaming, including Gyre; that mention is not an endorsement or a current feature comparison. Verify a service’s current functions and terms directly before relying on it. YouTube’s encoder information by region provides platform guidance.
Test before the scheduled start, then monitor
-
Set up the encoder stream at least two hours before the event and start the encoder at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start, as YouTube recommends.
-
Use the Live Control Room preview to confirm the correct sermon video is arriving and that picture and sound are present.
-
Check that the event opens from the channel and watch pages, and test access on a phone as well as a computer.

Monitor audio and video during operation. For a continuous service, assign someone to respond to interruptions rather than assuming a scheduled event will run unattended.
YouTube advises that the stream bitrate must fit within available upload bandwidth and recommends leaving 20% headroom. This is a network planning recommendation, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service. See YouTube’s streaming tips for the bandwidth guidance and test recommendations.

StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live with uploaded videos: upload a recording or build a playlist, add the YouTube stream key once, and go live. The computer at home or church does not have to stay on. Each slot streams uploaded files as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; the service automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. The Monthly option is $9.99 per month. For an Indian church, UPI is available as well as cards. StreamNeo streams to YouTube only and plays uploaded videos, not a live camera feed. Start the free first day with StreamNeo.
Troubleshooting common setup problems

The channel cannot start a livestream: Check verification and whether a livestream restriction applies. If livestreaming is newly enabled, allow up to 24 hours for activation.

The scheduled event exists but shows no video: Scheduling does not send a feed. Confirm the encoder or cloud service is running, that it is configured with the event’s stream URL and key, and that the correct recording is selected.
-
The event does not start when expected: Check that the encoder is sending the feed and inspect the event’s auto-start setting. Start the encoder in advance and verify the preview rather than relying on the schedule alone.
-
Viewers report buffering or an unstable picture: Compare the stream bitrate with available upload bandwidth, leaving YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom. Check the connection and the feed from another device.
-
There is no sound or the wrong sermon is playing: Check the Live Control Room preview and verify the selected file, playlist order, and audio output before the event is promoted.

A sermon is hard to find in the archive: Very long streams may have limited or unavailable DVR rewind, and YouTube’s automatic archiving guidance applies to streams under 12 hours. Retain the source files and publish individual recordings where on-demand access matters.
-
A rights claim or restriction appears: Review permissions for the complete recording, including music and other third-party content. Do not assume ownership of the sermon recording covers embedded material.
