How to Broadcast a Bengali Podcast Archive on YouTube Live 24/7

A practical guide to looping Bengali podcast episodes on YouTube Live, connecting an encoder, protecting the archive, and handling rights, outages, and replay limits.

To broadcast a Bengali podcast archive on YouTube Live around the clock, prepare an ordered playlist of episodes you have the rights to rebroadcast, then send it to YouTube using an encoder on a continuously running computer or a cloud playout service. YouTube’s Live Control Room supplies the stream URL and key. Plan a separate way to preserve episodes: YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while a stream over 12 hours may not be captured at all.

Prepare the Bengali podcast archive

Choose and order episodes

Select recordings you are entitled to rebroadcast and arrange them in the order listeners should hear them. Decide whether the sequence should repeat in order or shuffle. A title card or brief slate identifying the channel and explaining that these are archived episodes can help viewers understand the format; it is an editorial choice, not a YouTube requirement.

Check rights in every part of each episode

A podcast recording is not automatically cleared for a continuous YouTube broadcast just because it was published in a feed or you own the recording. Review music beds and themes, guest voices and permissions, clips, artwork, and other inserted material. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions require the provider to hold the rights needed for the live content on Google services, including music rights. YouTube also scans live streams for third-party content; a license may not prevent interruption if the rights owner has not allowlisted the channel in Content ID. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

Choose how to keep the playlist playing

Stream from a local computer

A computer running encoder software gives you direct control over the outgoing feed, but it also becomes part of your continuity plan: the computer, power, network connection, and software must keep working. YouTube documents how to send an encoder feed, but the cited YouTube pages do not describe a built-in procedure for looping a prerecorded playlist indefinitely. Arrange the playlist and looping in your chosen playout or encoder setup, and verify its behavior before relying on it.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Use cloud playout

A cloud playout service can run an uploaded playlist on its servers, so your home computer does not have to stay on. For example, Upstream documents a 24/7 playout workflow that loops uploaded video or audio files. Its FAQ says its free plan provides 24 streaming hours monthly and that a channel running all month needs a paid plan with unlimited streaming hours. Those are Upstream’s own plan statements and may change; check its current terms before choosing it. They are not a YouTube endorsement or a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or monetization.

Consider shorter scheduled sessions if replays matter

YouTube says it can automatically archive streams shorter than 12 hours, but warns that a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. One continuous 24/7 broadcast is therefore not a dependable way to create a complete YouTube replay. If separate replays are important, consider ending and restarting scheduled sessions before they exceed 12 hours. YouTube does not promise that every such session will be captured, so retain a local recording as a backup. Read YouTube’s archive guidance.

Compare the operational trade-offs

  • Computer and network: Does the setup depend on a machine, power supply, and home internet connection staying up?
  • Playlist changes: How will you add, remove, or reorder episodes, and does the change interrupt playback?
  • Restarts and outages: What happens when the encoder or connection drops, and who will notice and restart it?
  • Limits and cost: Check current usage limits, plan terms, and pricing for any service rather than assuming a plan covers continuous streaming.
  • Monitoring: Decide how you will check for silent playback, a stuck episode, or an exhausted playlist.

Enable YouTube Live and connect an encoder

  1. Check channel eligibility. YouTube’s current help says the channel must be verified and must not have live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days. First-time live-streaming enablement can take up to 24 hours. See Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
  2. Create or schedule an encoder stream. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. YouTube’s live stream settings guidance covers stream controls such as privacy, DVR, and auto-start or auto-stop where applicable.
  3. Copy the connection details. Copy the stream URL and stream key from YouTube into the encoder’s stream settings. Treat the key like a password: someone who has it may be able to send content to your channel. Reset it if it is exposed.
  4. Set and test the outgoing feed. YouTube recommends RTMPS, constant bitrate, and a two-second keyframe interval (no more than four seconds). Its encoder guidance lists H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 video codecs, and AAC or MP3 audio for RTMP/RTMPS. A static or gently animated visual may suit a podcast stream; choose a resolution and bitrate that your encoder and upload connection can sustain, then test rather than assuming a particular resolution is necessary. See YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.
  5. Preview before going live. Start the encoder and check the preview in the Live Control Room. Confirm that the expected episode, image, and audio are reaching YouTube before making the stream public.

Test, monitor, and preserve the broadcast

Before launch

  • Set up and test the encoder stream ahead of the intended broadcast.
  • Check that a local recording file is being created and growing if you are recording locally.
  • Confirm that viewers can open the stream from the channel and watch page, including on a mobile device.
  • Listen for clear audio and check that the picture is stable.
  • Leave upload capacity beyond the stream’s total bitrate. YouTube recommends about 20% upload-bandwidth headroom over that bitrate; see YouTube live streaming tips.

During an always-on broadcast

Monitor for silent or stuck playback, playlist exhaustion, encoder restarts, power loss, and internet outages. These checks are practical operating steps, not a guarantee that a long-running stream will never fail. Keep a local copy if the recordings or assembled program need preservation; YouTube explicitly recommends a local archive backup. Estimate storage from the recording bitrate and the hours you intend to retain. An external drive is optional, and YouTube does not require a particular capacity or model.

Troubleshoot common problems

  • You cannot start a live stream: Check channel verification and whether the channel has had a live-stream restriction in the past 90 days. If this is the first enablement, allow up to 24 hours.
  • YouTube does not receive the encoder feed: Confirm that the stream URL and key were copied correctly and entered in the encoder’s stream settings. If the key may have been exposed, reset it and update the encoder.
  • The stream is unstable or drops: Check the network connection and available upload capacity. YouTube recommends about 20% headroom beyond the total stream bitrate; reduce the bitrate if the connection cannot sustain it, then test again.
  • The stream may not produce a complete replay: A stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. Preserve a local recording, and consider shorter sessions if YouTube replays matter.
  • Playback is interrupted over copyrighted material: Review the episode for third-party music, clips, or other material, and confirm that the rights cover the live broadcast. YouTube may interrupt a live stream when matched content remains; having a license may not be enough if the owner has not allowlisted the channel in Content ID.
  • The playlist stops or repeats incorrectly: Check the playlist order, loop or shuffle setting, and the playout system’s behavior at the end of the sequence. Test a full cycle before relying on it for continuous playback.
