Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesYou can keep recorded gospel choir performances playing on YouTube by sending them to a YouTube Live stream through an encoder. First confirm that the channel can livestream and that you have the necessary rights to every song, recording, image, and other element. For continuous playback, choose either a computer-based setup you operate or a cloud service; neither bypasses YouTube’s rules or guarantees uninterrupted availability.
Before you set up the stream
Check that the channel can go live
Sign in to the YouTube channel you plan to use and check its livestream access in YouTube Studio or Live Control Room. YouTube says a channel must be verified and have had no livestream restrictions in the previous 90 days to livestream. Its guidance also says livestreamers must be at least 16. Confirm the current status before preparing a launch, because account restrictions can stop a stream regardless of the equipment or service you use. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility and setup guidance.
Clear the rights to the complete recording
Make an inventory of what viewers will hear and see. A choir video may contain rights held by different people or organizations, including rights in the performance, musical composition, backing track, arrangement, recording, photographs, slides, and other visuals. Obtain the permissions needed for your intended use before streaming. A recording being available to you, or having permission to perform a song, does not by itself establish that every right needed for a public livestream is covered.
Plan for interruptions, not just playback
A continuous stream needs more than a playlist: consider how it will loop, how you will notice a playback or connection failure, and what happens after a disconnection. A computer-based encoder relies on the computer, power, and internet connection at the operating location. Cloud playout shifts that operational dependency to the service and your account. Check the chosen method’s actual looping, restart, monitoring, and recovery behavior rather than assuming it will run unattended.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Set up a YouTube Live stream from recordings
- Prepare the files. Assemble the recordings you are authorized to stream and decide their order. Check the beginning and end of each file, the audio level, and whether transitions or gaps are acceptable for a continuous programme. Keep the originals available in case a file needs to be replaced.
- Confirm eligibility and rights. Verify that the channel has livestream access and that rights for all included material are cleared. If a rights owner has licensed material for use, ask whether the channel must be added to that owner’s Content ID allowlist.
- Create or schedule the live stream. In YouTube Live Control Room, create or schedule a stream and select an encoder-based workflow. YouTube documents encoder streaming as a supported way to send a live feed. Follow the current settings shown in Live Control Room; the appropriate encoder configuration depends on the actual source and the options YouTube presents for the stream.
- Connect an encoder and send the recordings as a live feed. Configure the encoder to use the stream settings provided by YouTube, then select the prepared recording or playlist as its source. A prerecorded file is not automatically a YouTube livestream: the encoder must send its video and audio to the live event. Do not share the stream key; treat it as a credential that can let another person or system broadcast to your channel.
- Run a pre-launch check. Before making the event public, use a private or otherwise suitable test where available. Confirm that YouTube receives both audio and video, that the right recording is playing, and that the playlist behaves as intended. Check the complete playback path, including what happens at the end of a file or playlist.
- Start the event and monitor it. Watch the stream in YouTube and check YouTube Studio for copyright notices, warnings, or restrictions. Keep access to the source files and encoder settings so you can investigate an interruption without rebuilding the setup from scratch.
Choose a way to keep it running
For continuous YouTube playback, StreamNeo is the cloud option to consider first: it keeps uploaded videos playing on YouTube from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K at 60 fps at one flat price per slot, and includes a free first day.
| Approach | What it depends on | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Computer and encoder | The computer, its power supply, the local internet connection, and the encoder setup. | That the computer can play the files and send a stable feed, and that you can monitor and restart it if playback or the connection stops. |
| Cloud playout | The provider, your account, and the provider’s ability to send the intended recordings to YouTube. | Playlist and looping behavior, monitoring, restart and recovery behavior, storage limits, service terms, and compatibility with your workflow. |
Neither approach changes the channel’s responsibility for rights or YouTube’s live-stream policies. A secondary guide describes cloud streaming as one possible way to stream prerecorded videos continuously, but the details vary by provider; confirm them with the service you choose. See the guide to prerecorded YouTube streaming.

Copyright checks and YouTube interruptions
YouTube says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If YouTube identifies third-party content, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn the creator to stop streaming the material. If the material remains, the stream may be interrupted or terminated. A copyright or Community Guidelines strike can also terminate a livestream. Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
Having a licence does not necessarily prevent an automated interruption. YouTube advises creators using licensed material to ask the rights owner to add the channel to its Content ID allowlist. Coordinate this in advance with the relevant rights owners, especially where the recordings include music controlled by publishers, labels, or other third parties. Do not treat a successful test stream as advance approval for every later broadcast.

What Tamil Nadu changes—and what it does not
The available YouTube guidance describes general channel eligibility, encoder streaming, and copyright checks; it does not establish a Tamil Nadu-specific exception, technical setting, or advance approval for continuous prerecorded streams. The workflow above is therefore YouTube-wide, not a claim of special regional clearance. If your choir, church, rights holders, or other relevant authorities impose additional requirements, confirm those directly before broadcasting.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo loops uploaded videos from the cloud; your computer, OBS, and home internet connection do not have to stay on. It is for uploaded video, not a camera-based live broadcast, and streams to YouTube.

| Symptom | What to check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a livestream. | Channel verification and whether livestream restrictions are active, including restrictions in the previous 90 days. | Check the channel’s current Live Control Room status and resolve any account restriction before trying another encoder. |
| YouTube shows a placeholder, warning, or stops the stream. | Copyright notices and whether the stream includes material matched to third-party content. | Stop using material you are not authorized to stream. For licensed content, contact the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting; review YouTube’s live copyright guidance. |
| The video plays locally but does not reach the live event. | Whether the encoder is connected to the intended YouTube event and is sending both audio and video using the current stream settings. | Recheck the event and encoder configuration in Live Control Room, then test the feed before resuming publicly. |
| The stream stops when a recording ends or the connection drops. | Playlist loop settings, encoder restart behavior, local power and internet, or the cloud provider’s recovery behavior. | Test the end of the playlist and a restart scenario before relying on unattended playback; check the chosen setup’s monitoring and recovery controls. |
| The stream is live but has missing or unsuitable audio or video. | The source file, selected encoder input, and the audio and video received by YouTube. | Test the complete playback path privately or in another suitable non-public check and correct the source or input before the public event. |
For recurring or unexplained interruptions, note the time, the YouTube Studio notice, and the encoder or service status. That information helps distinguish account or copyright action from a playback, connection, or provider problem.
