Before you start, confirm your channel can livestream and that you have permission to use every recording and visual in the feed. For a continuous 24/7 broadcast, do not assume YouTube will create a complete replay: its automatic archive guidance applies to streams under 12 hours.
Choose a recorded-video stream, not a live performance
This setup is for prerecorded bhajan videos arranged into a continuous program. You can send that program from an encoder running on your own equipment or use a hosted service that loops uploaded files from the cloud. YouTube identifies encoder streaming as one way to go live; a cloud loop is a separate service that sends the prepared video feed to YouTube.

| Approach | Where the feed runs | What to plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Local encoder | An encoder on your equipment sends video to YouTube using the Live server URL and stream key. | Your encoder and connection must continue sending the feed. This approach gives you an encoder workflow for preparing and controlling the stream. |
| Cloud loop | A provider loops uploaded videos from its cloud, according to its service description. | Check the provider’s current recovery, monitoring, storage, pricing, and channel-compatibility terms. This workflow is for prerecorded uploads, not a live camera production. |
Check YouTube livestream access before launch
YouTube Help’s current guidance, observed in 2026, says the channel must be verified, must not have had a livestream restriction in the preceding 90 days, and the person livestreaming must be at least 16 years old. The guidance does not establish a subscriber count for this workflow, so do not treat a particular count as the requirement. Check access in YouTube Studio before choosing a launch date. Clear the actual recordings and visuals
Check the rights for the material you will broadcast, not just the underlying bhajan title. A traditional or religious song, a freely available online video, or a video already posted on YouTube is not automatically cleared for your stream. Depending on the material and applicable law, rights may involve the composition, arrangement, performance, particular sound recording, artwork, and other visuals. Obtain permission for the intended livestream use where needed.
#1 Best Overall
YouTube says it scans live streams for matches to third-party content. If it identifies a match, YouTube may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you to stop using the material; if it remains, the stream can be interrupted or terminated. A license may not prevent an interruption if the owner has not added your channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube advises licensed creators to ask the content owner to add the channel to that allowlist. YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams
- Make an inventory of every audio recording and visual in the playlist.
- Confirm the permission covers the recording and the way you intend to use it in a live broadcast.
- If you have licensed third-party material, contact the owner about adding your channel to its Content ID allowlist.
Set up and start the local encoder feed
- Prepare the playlist. Arrange the recorded bhajan videos in the order you want viewers to hear and see them. Confirm the files play as expected and that the rights checks cover all included material.
- Create the live stream in YouTube Studio. Use YouTube’s encoder workflow to create or open the intended live stream and obtain its YouTube Live server URL and stream key. Follow the current Studio labels for your account.
- Enter the connection details in your encoder. Paste the YouTube Live server URL and stream key into the encoder’s streaming destination settings. Treat the stream key as a credential: it is what lets the encoder send video to your channel, so do not share it publicly.
- Start sending the feed. Start the encoder output and allow YouTube to receive it. YouTube’s setup guidance directs creators to check the Live Control Room preview before going live.
- Confirm the preview, then go live. Check that the intended video and audio appear in the Live Control Room preview, then use the current Studio controls to start the broadcast. A successful connection confirms that video is reaching YouTube; it does not prove that rights are cleared or guarantee an uninterrupted stream.

Plan stream duration and replays separately
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That guidance does not promise a complete replay for one uninterrupted, indefinitely continuous 24/7 transmission. If viewers need replay access, plan separate sessions and check the current archive controls in Studio rather than relying on a single continuous broadcast to produce a full recording. YouTube’s encoder and archive guidance
Monetization is not automatic
Running a continuous stream does not by itself guarantee monetization. YouTube says creators in the YouTube Partner Program can monetize a live stream; that does not establish that a particular channel is eligible or that a devotional video loop will meet monetization review requirements. Check the rules and status that apply to your channel before relying on stream revenue.
