You can keep relaxing music live on YouTube around the clock without leaving your personal computer on by using a cloud livestream service to host and play your uploaded files. A cloud drive alone does not broadcast: a playout service or encoder must fetch the media, assemble the audio and video, and send the live feed to YouTube. For hands-off operation, StreamNeo is the first option to consider: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, streams at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day.
What “from cloud storage” means
There are two practical ways to run a continuous prerecorded stream:
- Cloud playout: Upload your cleared media to a service that stores and loops it, then connect that service to YouTube. The service performs the playback and broadcast, so your home computer does not have to stay on.
- DIY encoder: Keep a playlist on a computer or hosted virtual machine and run an encoder such as OBS. The machine, playback, encoder, and network connection must remain available.
A general-purpose cloud drive is storage, not a live encoder. The sources covered here do not establish a direct integration between Gyre and a named third-party drive; Gyre describes uploading media into its own storage. YouTube lists Gyre as a cloud-based prerecorded-video streaming tool, and Gyre describes an upload, playlist, YouTube connection, and broadcast workflow (YouTube encoder directory; Gyre).
Clear the music and visuals before you broadcast
Confirm that you have permission for each track and visual for public YouTube livestreaming, the territories you intend to reach, monetization if applicable, and any recording or replay you plan to retain. “Royalty-free” by itself does not establish those rights; read the specific license.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. A match may cause a placeholder to replace the stream, or the stream may be interrupted or terminated if the material remains. A license may not prevent an interruption: YouTube says a rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Keep written license terms and allowlist confirmation where applicable. Claims on an archived live stream may also arrive after it ends (YouTube Help: live streams and copyrighted content).
Choose how the stream will run
Cloud playout for a hands-off broadcast
A cloud service hosts uploaded source media, loops a playlist, and sends the output to YouTube. You avoid keeping a local playback machine online, but should compare the provider’s storage, playlist controls, scheduling, asset replacement, stream-key handling, and subscription terms. YouTube’s encoder directory lists Gyre for prerecorded continuous streaming; its product page describes uploading media to its storage, making a playlist, connecting YouTube, and starting the broadcast (YouTube encoder directory; Gyre).

OBS on a computer or hosted virtual machine
OBS is a free, open-source encoder listed in YouTube’s encoder directory (YouTube encoder directory; OBS Project). You control playback and encoding, but you are responsible for keeping the machine, playlist, encoder, and network running and for recovering from failures. On a hosted virtual machine, the same operational work remains; the computer is simply hosted elsewhere.
Prepare your playlist and broadcast
- Assemble cleared source files. Use audio and any static or animated visuals only when their rights are covered. Choose enough varied material that listeners are not forced into an unpleasantly short loop; there is no established ideal playlist length. Keep a separate backup of your cleared master files.
- Set up playback. In a cloud service, upload the files to its storage and build the playlist there. Gyre says its converter optimizes uploaded files and its playlist loops automatically; these are vendor-described features, not an independent performance assessment (Gyre). In a DIY setup, configure OBS and your playback method to repeat the playlist, then confirm that audio continues through transitions.
- Enable YouTube live streaming in advance. In YouTube Studio, open Create → Go Live. Create or schedule a stream in Live Control Room. First-time live activation may take up to 24 hours, so complete activation before the intended launch (YouTube encoder setup guidance).
- Copy the connection details. In Live Control Room, copy the stream server URL and stream key into the encoder or supported cloud service. Treat the key like a password: do not publish or share it, and regenerate it if it is exposed.
- Prefer RTMPS when the encoder offers it. Google documents RTMPS as RTMP over SSL and specifies a valid RTMPS endpoint, port 443, and SNI hostname for authentication. A managed service may handle those connection details for you; protect the YouTube stream key either way (Google RTMPS ingestion documentation).
- Preview and test before going public. Start an unlisted or private test. Check the sound level, audio/video synchronization, playlist transitions, and YouTube’s stream-health display in Live Control Room. Then make the scheduled broadcast public when the test is satisfactory.
Plan for the limits of a continuous broadcast
YouTube’s encoder guidance says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A single uninterrupted 24/7 stream exceeds that stated window, so do not count on one complete replay being saved. If you need replays, consider dividing the broadcast into shorter scheduled segments and retaining your source playlist separately (YouTube encoder setup guidance).

YouTube does not accept the connection
Check that you copied the current server URL and stream key from the intended Live Control Room event, selected the correct ingest option, and did not expose or invalidate the key. If the key may be compromised, regenerate it and update the encoder or cloud service.

The stream starts but audio or transitions fail
Preview the stream and inspect audio levels, synchronization, and playlist transitions. Test the full playlist cycle before announcing a long broadcast; a successful connection alone does not confirm that playback behaves correctly.
The stream is interrupted by a copyright match
Review the affected material and your license scope. If you are licensed, ask the rights holder whether the channel must be added to its Content ID allowlist, then retain written confirmation. A license does not guarantee uninterrupted streaming if the allowlist requirement is unresolved (YouTube Help).
A complete 24-hour replay is missing
That is consistent with YouTube’s stated automatic archive behavior for streams under 12 hours. Use shorter broadcast segments if complete archived replays are important (YouTube encoder setup guidance).
