You can broadcast a Marathi devotional playlist on YouTube Live with an encoder connected to YouTube Studio, but an all-day schedule is not a guarantee of an uninterrupted stream or a complete replay. Before going live, clear the rights for every recording, test the encoder and connection, and decide whether you need a YouTube archive: streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all.

Before you start: check channel eligibility and rights

Confirm live streaming is available

Verify your channel and check that it has no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. YouTube says streamers must be at least 16, and first-time live-stream activation may take up to 24 hours. Enable it well before your planned broadcast rather than waiting until the start time. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.

Clear every recording for live use

Make an inventory of the exact recordings, versions, and visuals in your playlist. You need the necessary rights for each sound recording and composition in the territories where the stream will be available. YouTube’s terms put responsibility for obtaining those rights on the content provider; the rights relevant to your stream depend on your agreements and the applicable rights holders. Review YouTube’s Terms of Service and your licenses rather than assuming a track is cleared.

A purchased track, an ordinary music-service subscription, or a “royalty-free” label does not by itself establish permission to broadcast that recording on YouTube Live. A devotional song’s age also does not settle the status of a specific arrangement, performance, or recording. If you use licensed third-party material and Content ID interrupts the stream, ask the rights holder to allowlist your channel through Content ID.

  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. Its Help page says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A match can lead to a warning, interruption, or termination; having a license does not necessarily prevent interruption if the channel has not been allowlisted. Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

Choose music you can actually use

For music without third-party clearance, YouTube points creators to its Audio Library or original music. Check the specific license and attribution conditions for any Audio Library track. Do not treat a written credit in your description as permission: YouTube says credits do not determine whether a stream is safe from Content ID claims. Creator Music is not a shortcut for this use case: the usage terms described by YouTube exclude live streams, so an ordinary video license should not be assumed to cover a live broadcast. See YouTube Audio Library guidance and Creator Music usage details.

Set up the playlist and YouTube Live event

Prepare the audio and visual

Assemble the cleared recordings in the order you want them to play, and decide whether the broadcast will use a still image or a simple visual. For a playlist with a still image, a software encoder is a reasonable starting point; a camera or hardware encoder is optional if you want a more involved production. YouTube supports both software and hardware encoders, but does not require a specific paid product for a music playlist.

Create the event and connect an encoder

  1. In YouTube Studio, select Create > Go Live, then choose the Stream workflow in Live Control Room. Create or schedule the event and set its title, description, visibility, and other metadata.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  2. In the event’s stream settings, copy the YouTube server URL and stream key into the corresponding streaming settings in your encoder. Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish it or share it with people who should not be able to broadcast to your channel.

Test continuity, playback, and backup recording

Plan the stream around replay and rewind limits

One session may be intended to run all day, but that does not mean YouTube will preserve the whole broadcast. YouTube says it can automatically archive streams under 12 hours; if a stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all. If viewers need a replay, plan sessions shorter than 12 hours and record locally as a separate backup. See YouTube’s archive guidance.

DVR lets viewers pause and rewind a live stream, but YouTube says DVR may be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours. The 12-hour threshold concerns archive and DVR behavior; it is not a promise that a shorter session will stay connected. See YouTube’s DVR guidance.

Choose between software and hardware encoding

Option When it fits What to weigh
Software encoder A straightforward playlist broadcast, including one with a still image YouTube supports software encoders. Your computer and connection must remain available, and someone should be prepared to monitor failures.
Hardware encoder A dedicated or higher-production station YouTube supports hardware encoders too, but the available guidance does not establish a required model or a comparative price, uptime, or performance advantage for this use case.

Neither category guarantees uninterrupted service. Choose based on production needs and how you will monitor the stream, not on an assumption that a particular device is required for a playlist.

Troubleshoot common problems

YouTube is not receiving the encoder feed

  • Check that the encoder has the correct YouTube server URL and stream key, and that the event is set up in the intended Studio account.

  • Confirm the encoder is running and that the Live Control Room shows a preview. If it does not, stop and recheck the connection settings before starting the public event.

The picture or sound is missing or poor

The stream is interrupted after a copyright match

  • Identify the matched recording and review whether your license covers live use on YouTube in the relevant territories. A credit or a “free” label is not proof of that permission.

  • If the material is licensed and the interruption is due to Content ID, contact the rights holder about allowlisting your channel. Otherwise, replace the track with music you have cleared for live use.

The full replay is missing or viewers cannot rewind far back

Or let it run in the cloud

If you want a YouTube playlist stream without leaving a home computer running, StreamNeo keeps an uploaded video or playlist live from the cloud. Upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams the uploaded file as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly service is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo is for uploaded video, not a live camera feed, and it streams to YouTube.
