To find sponsors for a live stream, make your channel easy to evaluate, identify brands that fit your audience, and pitch a specific integration with clear deliverables. Start with platform discovery tools—Twitch’s Creator Profile and Sponsorships dashboard, or YouTube’s Creator Partnerships and direct outreach—while preparing a concise media kit. None of these routes guarantees a deal; a relevant, well-defined proposal gives a brand something concrete to assess.
How do I get sponsors for my stream?
Work through these steps before and during outreach:
- Define your audience and fit. Describe what your stream covers, who watches, and which product categories would make sense to that community. Lead with relevance, not reach alone.
- Make your channel sponsor-ready. Complete the platform profiles and program checks that help brands discover or evaluate you.
- Prepare a concise media kit. Include audience and performance information, examples of your content, collaboration ideas, and a way to contact you.
- Pitch suitable brands. Suggest a specific integration and explain what the brand and viewers would get from it.
- Agree on scope and terms. Clarify deliverables, dates, usage rights, exclusivity, payment timing, reporting, and cancellation terms before accepting.
- Disclose and deliver. Use the platform’s branded-content tools where applicable, follow relevant disclosure rules, and fulfill the agreed work.
There is no universal follower count, viewer threshold, sponsorship rate, or guarantee of success established by the platform guidance cited here. Keep performance figures dated and tied to a specific period so a brand can interpret them accurately.
How to find brands to sponsor your livestream
Twitch: Creator Profile and Sponsorships dashboard
Complete and keep your Twitch Creator Profile current, including useful information about your channel, interests, and sponsorship preferences. Twitch says profiles help brands and agencies discover creators. Then review the Sponsorships dashboard for opportunities and check the criteria for each campaign. Twitch’s August 20, 2026 guidance says Affiliates must complete Creator Sponsorship Certification to qualify for sponsorship opportunities; this is a Twitch eligibility rule, not a requirement for every sponsorship negotiated outside Twitch. Twitch has also described third-party campaign experiences. Its August 2026 announcement discussed Wehype offers surfaced through Twitch, subject to brand criteria and invitations. A February 25, 2025 announcement described StreamElements as its first partner for sponsorship offers in the dashboard, with campaign terms, payout, and customer support handled through StreamElements. These are dated announcements: verify the current partner, campaign terms, and availability in your own dashboard before relying on either route. Twitch reported collaborating with more than 70 brands in its beta program in 2025; that historical figure is not a current marketplace count and does not mean every creator will receive an offer. YouTube: Creator Partnerships and direct outreach
Check whether your channel is eligible for YouTube Creator Partnerships, and consider enabling channel insights sharing so brands can evaluate channel information for potential campaigns. You can also contact brands through their public contact forms, find relevant marketing directors on LinkedIn, or reach out to brands on X. Choose brands for audience fit
Make a short list of brands whose products make sense for the subject and audience of your stream. Explain the connection in plain terms: what viewers care about, why this product is relevant, and how you would present it without disrupting the content. This is a practical way to turn your channel and audience information into a focused proposal, not a promise that a particular pitch will be accepted.
What should I put in a streamer media kit?
A media kit should let a brand understand the channel, its audience, and the collaboration you are proposing without having to guess. YouTube recommends describing the channel and audience, sharing performance and demographic information, explaining why you want to partner, and suggesting collaboration ideas.

- Channel identity: A concise description of the stream, its subject, and its style.
- Audience: Relevant audience characteristics and demographic data you can substantiate.
- Performance: Metrics such as active subscribers, views, unique viewers, watch time, or typical retention. State the date or reporting period for each figure.
- Examples: Links to relevant streams or clips that show how a brand integration could fit.
- Collaboration options: One or two formats you can actually deliver, such as a clearly identified mention or product demonstration during a suitable segment.
- Contact details: A reliable way for a brand to reach you.
Use accurate numbers and label their time period. The platform guidance does not set a universal minimum audience or a standard rate, so do not present a follower count or price as a guaranteed qualification.
How to write a sponsor pitch
Keep the pitch brief and specific. Address a person or team when you can identify the appropriate contact, and link to your media kit and the most relevant stream examples.

- Name the brand and the product you have in mind.
- Explain why the product fits your channel and audience.
- Propose one or two stream-specific integrations, rather than asking vaguely for “a sponsorship.”
- State the deliverables you are offering and the dates or timing you have in mind.
- Ask what campaign outcome the brand wants and what information it needs from you.
Before agreeing, put the scope and business terms in writing: what you will create, when it will run, how the brand may use the content, any exclusivity, payment schedule, reporting expectations, and what happens if either side cancels. A platform match or invitation is an opportunity to discuss—not an agreement to accept every term.

Using more than one route can help you find opportunities without depending on an inbound match. No route is universally best: compare how each opportunity is found, its eligibility conditions, and how clearly the campaign’s deliverables and payment terms are stated.

Disclose sponsored livestreams
Use the platform’s branded-content features when a stream includes a paid or otherwise compensated brand relationship, and make the sponsorship clear to viewers. Twitch’s branded-content guidance describes a disclosure tool in the Creator Dashboard. YouTube defines branded content to include livestreams where a brand influences content in exchange for value, including payment, free products, or sponsorship, and instructs creators to declare branded content in Studio. Both platforms state that creators remain responsible for applicable disclosure requirements; a platform toggle should not be assumed to meet every legal obligation.
