YouTube’s encoder guide lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded video. That is an example in YouTube’s documentation, not an endorsement or guarantee of a provider’s performance. Compare services on looping, duration limits, storage, accepted formats, reconnection, monitoring, cancellation, support, and regional availability.
Prepare the channel and yoga content
Check live-stream eligibility early
YouTube Help says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days; it also says streamers must be at least 16. YouTube’s encoder setup guidance says first-time live-stream activation may take up to 24 hours, so complete activation before your planned launch. Requirements can change; confirm them in YouTube’s live-streaming getting-started guidance and encoder setup instructions.

Build a coherent playlist and keep a backup
Prepare the videos and audio in the sequence you want viewers to experience. Check transitions, loudness, orientation, and cropping. Keep the original files separately in case you need to restore or revise the playlist.
Confirm rights and describe the stream honestly
Use only video, music, images, and other material you own or are licensed to broadcast on YouTube. A hosting service does not grant content rights. YouTube says all live-stream content must follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Describe the broadcast as a prerecorded yoga relaxation stream if that is what it is; do not suggest viewers are receiving live instruction or interaction.

Set up the cloud stream
- Create or schedule the YouTube Live broadcast. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create a stream. Choose a title and description that accurately identify the content and its prerecorded nature.
- Copy the YouTube server URL and stream key. YouTube’s encoder workflow requires these details to connect an encoder. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not control your stream.
- Configure the cloud playout service. Upload your files, arrange the playlist or loop, and enter the YouTube server URL and stream key in the service’s YouTube/encoder settings. The exact labels vary by provider. If you reset the YouTube key, update it in the service before restarting.
- Test before going public. If your workflow permits, run a private or unlisted test. In YouTube’s Live Control Room, confirm the feed arrives and inspect stream health. Check that the video fills the frame correctly, audio is audible and consistent, and the loop transition behaves as intended.
- Start the public stream and plan to monitor it. Verify the title, description, and visibility before launch. Decide who will notice and respond if the feed stops; no provider should be assumed to have perfect uptime without evidence.
Think through replays, reliability, and costs
Do not count on a full archive of a 24/7 broadcast
YouTube’s encoder guidance says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. It does not establish that a longer continuous stream will be archived, so do not promise viewers a full replay for a stream exceeding that threshold. If replay availability matters, consider shorter scheduled broadcasts and keep source files independently.
Check service limits before paying
Cloud services differ in duration ceilings, storage, file formats, reconnection behavior, and plan requirements. For example, OneStream Live’s Help Center says its 24/7 feature requires Enterprise and has a maximum duration of 30 days. Confirm the current terms directly with any provider before relying on a particular schedule or recovery workflow.

Compare the cost with what must stay running
A cloud service has a recurring cost, but removes the need to leave a home computer and connection running for playout. A hardware encoder requires purchase and maintenance; a home-computer setup uses encoder software but leaves the computer and internet connection active. Compare total costs and operational requirements rather than assuming one method is universally cheapest.

Can YouTube loop a normal uploaded yoga video as a live stream on its own?
