What happened on SNL with Connor Storrie?
Storrie arrived as a first-time host after drawing attention for his role in the Canadian hockey series Heated Rivalry. Peacock identifies it as Season 51, Episode 13, and lists a 69-minute runtime. Peacock’s episode page names Mumford & Sons as the musical guest.
The monologue brought in Olympic hockey players
Jack and Quinn Hughes appeared with U.S. women’s hockey captain Hilary Knight and teammate Megan Keller. All four wore USA jerseys and gold medals. Knight joked, “It was going to be just us, but we thought we’d invite the guys, too.” The Associated Press connected the punch line to the public controversy over the men’s team receiving a congratulatory call after its Olympic win.
