For a playlist viewers choose and play, add the videos and drag them into your preferred sequence in YouTube Studio. For a true 24/7 live broadcast, send a video feed to YouTube Live through an encoder; the order and language switches must be handled in the playback workflow feeding that encoder, not by the scheduled YouTube event.
First decide what “24/7 playlist” means
A YouTube playlist and a continuous live stream are different things. A playlist lets viewers start playback and navigate the listed videos. A live stream presents an ongoing broadcast on a live watch page. Choose based on whether viewers should control playback or tune in to a continuous broadcast.

YouTube’s playlist controls cover ordering and metadata, while its live-stream guidance covers connecting an encoder. Neither describes a built-in rule that alternates Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu videos automatically. YouTube playlist help; YouTube live-streaming with an encoder.
Arrange the videos in a YouTube playlist
- Open YouTube Studio and create or select a playlist. When creating one, enter its title and description, choose visibility and an initial arrangement, then create it.
- Add the videos. Playlist management supports adding videos from search, by URL, or from your creator library.
- Drag videos into the sequence you want. For a repeating pattern, place one Hindi video, one Tamil video, and one Telugu video in that order, then repeat the pattern with the rest of your selections. The sequence is your editorial choice; YouTube does not infer it from spoken language.
- Check the order in the playlist. Reorder individual items manually if you add or replace videos later. Do not expect the sequence to change automatically according to a schedule.

Translate playlist metadata separately
If viewers use different interface languages, YouTube Studio lets you set a playlist’s default language and add translated playlist titles and descriptions. This localizes the playlist metadata; it does not identify the spoken language of each video or automatically reorder the playlist. YouTube notes that advanced features may require one-time verification. See YouTube’s playlist help.
Build a real continuous live broadcast
For a live page that plays prerecorded Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu videos, the feed must come from a playback or production setup connected to YouTube Live. YouTube’s encoder instructions explain how to create a stream in Live Control Room or schedule one through the Manage tab, then connect the encoder using the stream URL and stream key from YouTube Studio. The encoder sends the video feed; your playback workflow determines which video appears next and when the language changes. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.

- Prepare the rotation in your playback workflow. Decide whether to alternate each video (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, repeat), play language blocks, or switch at set times. YouTube’s scheduling controls do not make that choice for you.
- Create or schedule the live stream in YouTube Studio. Use Live Control Room for a new stream, or the Manage tab to schedule one if you want a listed event.
- Connect the encoder. Enter the stream URL and stream key supplied by YouTube Studio into your encoder, following the encoder’s own instructions.
- Start the video feed and verify the live page. Confirm the intended video and language sequence is reaching YouTube. Scheduling the event and selecting the prerecorded material are separate tasks.
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That is an archiving rule, not a promise that one live event can remain indefinitely online as a single uninterrupted broadcast. YouTube live-streaming help.
Keep the rotation usable and rights-aware
- Choose a sequence viewers can understand. Repeating a Hindi–Tamil–Telugu pattern gives each language a predictable place; language blocks or timed switches may suit a different programming goal.
- Keep playlist metadata accurate. Translated titles and descriptions help localize the playlist listing, but do not label an individual video’s audio for YouTube or change its playback position.
- Use material you have rights to stream. A 24/7 format does not remove copyright obligations. Check that you have permission for the videos and any music or other included material, and review YouTube’s applicable policies before broadcasting.
For a true broadcast, plan for the playback system and encoder to keep operating and check the stream when it starts. YouTube’s cited instructions explain how to connect and schedule an encoder stream, but do not establish a complete automatic language-switching setup or guarantee uninterrupted uptime.
