Choose the connection that fits your stream
The options do different jobs rather than offering interchangeable versions of one integration. An OBS overlay puts campaign information into the broadcast scene. The Twitch extension gives viewers a donation panel on your channel. Streamlabs and StreamElements connect campaign activity to those services’ alert tools. Pick the route that fits your platform and existing setup; you do not need to configure all of them.

Tiltify says livestreaming is not required to fundraise. Its support material names Twitch, YouTube, Rumble, and Facebook Live as platforms that can be displayed on a campaign page, but that does not mean each has an identical native extension or integration.
1. Create and publish the Tiltify campaign
- Sign up for Tiltify and verify your account by email.
- Find the cause you want to support and choose the Start Fundraising flow, or create a campaign from your dashboard.
- Complete the account and campaign details. Tiltify says identity verification is required before launching a personal campaign or participating in its Auction House.
- Set any campaign schedule and add milestones, rewards, or polls if you want them. These are optional campaign features, not prerequisites for connecting a stream.
- Choose Publish Campaign. Use the published campaign page to get the donation URL and to configure the stream connection.
2. Add a Tiltify overlay in OBS
This route displays campaign visuals in your scene. It assumes OBS is installed and configured for your broadcast.

- In your Tiltify campaign dashboard, open Overlay, select an available style, and copy its URL.
- In OBS, select the scene where the overlay should appear. In Sources, select + and choose Browser; create a new source.
- Paste the copied Tiltify URL into the Browser source’s URL field.
- Set the source width to 1280 pixels for a 720p stream or 1920 pixels for a 1080p stream. Tiltify recommends a height of at least 70 pixels to avoid issues.
- Position and size the source in the scene, then check that it is legible and does not cover important content. Confirm the correct scene is active before going live.
Tiltify describes its Compact Overlay as spanning about 60% of the screen; its Original and Overlay 2.0 options use full-width placements at the top or bottom. The overlay is associated with the campaign and receives donation data directly from it. Test its appearance in your own scene before the event.
3. Add the Tiltify Fundraising Extension to Twitch
- In your Twitch dashboard, open Extensions, search for Tiltify, and install Tiltify Fundraising.
- Allow popup windows. Tiltify says the extension uses them for configuration and to let viewers donate.
- Open the extension’s configuration, log in to Tiltify, and select the campaign supported by the extension. Save the configuration.
- Assign the extension to an extension-enabled panel on your channel. Tiltify suggests placing it among the first panels so it is visible in the channel information area.
- Check the channel page as a viewer and confirm the panel is active and opens as expected.
Viewers can use the panel to donate and apply their donation to available campaign rewards, polls, or milestones. Payment is completed in a popup using a payment method the charity has connected to its campaign. Configure the extension again when you start a new campaign.

4. Connect Streamlabs or StreamElements for alerts
Streamlabs
- Open the Integrations area in your Streamlabs account settings and link Tiltify.
- Check which campaign is selected. Tiltify says the connection defaults to the most recently published campaign; use Manage to select another campaign if needed.
- Use your existing Streamlabs tip alerts for donations to the active Tiltify campaign, and verify the alert configuration in Streamlabs before the broadcast.

StreamElements
- Log in to StreamElements and go to Account → Integrations → Tiltify.
- Select Connect and authorize the connection.
- Confirm the campaign is connected and check the notification setup in StreamElements.
Tiltify says this integration lets StreamElements register campaign donations, but Tiltify does not manage or maintain it. Contact StreamElements support for troubleshooting of the StreamElements integration.

5. Make the donation link easy to find
Share the published campaign donation URL independently of the overlay, Twitch panel, or alert setup. The overlay shows campaign information, and an alert reports activity; viewers still need a clear route to the campaign donation page.
For a YouTube fundraiser, Tiltify recommends creating the livestream 24–48 hours before the event, putting the campaign donation link and a call to action in the stream description, and adding the customized Tiltify overlay URL as a browser source in your streaming software. At the start of the event, post and pin the campaign link in chat. Tiltify notes that YouTube Super Chat contributions do not go to the Tiltify campaign, so explain which link viewers should use if they want their donation counted toward the fundraiser.

Tiltify also recommends sharing the campaign link in social posts, thanking donors, and using clear calls to action. Its YouTube guidance suggests repeating calls to action every 10–15 minutes and having trusted moderators share the link and help recognize donors. - Campaign: The intended campaign is published, and you have copied its donation URL.
- Overlay: The URL belongs to that campaign, the Browser source is in the correct OBS scene, and its size and placement are readable.
- Twitch: The extension is configured for the intended campaign, assigned to an active panel, and popup windows are allowed.
- Alerts: The alert service is authorized and selecting the active campaign.
- Viewer route: The donation link is in the stream description or pinned chat message where appropriate; viewers can distinguish it from YouTube Super Chat.
The setup guides explain configuration but do not establish that every account or live integration has been tested. Confirm the relevant behavior in your own account before an event.

Does a Tiltify overlay itself let viewers donate?
The overlay displays campaign information in the stream scene. Give viewers the published donation URL as well; for Twitch, the Fundraising Extension is a separate channel-panel route.
