Ubuntu Cloud Compute पर OBS stream सेट करें
- Vultr पर Ubuntu instance deploy करें. Vultr के OBS tutorial में शुरुआती configuration के रूप में 2 vCPUs, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB storage और 3 TB bandwidth दिए गए हैं। Resolution, frame rate, encoder और source के अनुसार वास्तविक संसाधन जरूरत बदल सकती है।
- SSH से सुरक्षित तरीके से जुड़ें. Non-root sudo user का उपयोग करें। Server को update करें और tutorial के निर्देश के अनुसार
ffmpegतथाobs-studioस्थापित करें। - OBS को GUI desktop session में खोलें. यह workflow OBS के दृश्य interface में source, output और reconnect व्यवहार सेट करने पर निर्भर है; केवल SSH terminal में package install कर देना प्रसारण शुरू करने के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं है।
- YouTube Studio में live stream बनाएं. YouTube encoder setup में दिखाया गया stream server/destination और निजी stream key OBS में डालें। Stream key को password की तरह गोपनीय रखें। YouTube ingest के लिए RTMPS की सिफारिश करता है।
- वीडियो, audio और output सेट करें. चुने गए resolution और frame rate के अनुरूप bitrate रखें, फिर source जोड़ें। शुरुआती broadcast से पहले YouTube Live Control Room का preview देखें।
- Stream शुरू करके health जांचें. Preview में वीडियो और आवाज़ ठीक हों, dropped frames या CPU overload न हो, यह जांचें। लगातार unattended चलने वाले encoder को भी आरंभ में और नियमित रूप से monitor करना चाहिए।

Vultr Broadcaster App से browser में OBS चलाएं
- Marketplace से Vultr Broadcaster instance deploy करें. Deployment के दौरान मिलने वाली access details सुरक्षित रखें।
- Domain या subdomain जोड़ें. Broadcaster guide के अनुसार DNS record को instance की ओर point करें और domain इस्तेमाल करने पर TLS certificate लगाएं। RTMP जैसे critical port की पहुंच को भरोसेमंद IP तक सीमित रखें।
- Browser से OBS खोलें. Generated access details का उपयोग करें और YouTube server destination तथा stream key सेट करें। Key को browser screenshot, public code, recording या logs में उजागर न करें।
- अपनी media files server पर upload करें. OBS में एक वीडियो के लिए Media Source जोड़ें और Loop सक्षम करें। कई videos को क्रम से चलाने के लिए VLC Video Source playlist बनाएं।
- Preview और stream health जांचकर प्रसारण शुरू करें. Audio, video, loop के अंत से शुरुआत पर वापसी और YouTube Live Control Room की स्थिति देखें।

YouTube encoder bitrate और network headroom
YouTube की H.264 encoder guidance के अनुसार नीचे दिए गए bitrate अनुशंसित मान हैं—ये Vultr instance पर किए गए performance test के नतीजे नहीं हैं। YouTube RTMPS, CBR encoding, अधिकतम 60 fps, AAC या MP3 audio और 2 सेकंड का सुझाया keyframe interval बताता है; keyframe interval 4 सेकंड से अधिक न हो।

24/7 प्रसारण और YouTube replay अलग चीजें हैं
YouTube के अनुसार 12 घंटे से कम live streams अपने आप archive हो सकती हैं, लेकिन 12 घंटे से लंबी stream शायद capture न हो। इसलिए 24 घंटे लगातार encoder चलने से एक पूरी, सुरक्षित YouTube replay मिलने की गारंटी नहीं बनती।
- यदि replay का पूरा दिन उपलब्ध होना जरूरी है, तो छोटे scheduled streaming sessions की योजना बनाएं।
- अलग local recording workflow रखें और backup copy सुरक्षित करें; YouTube भी local archive की backup प्रति रखने की सिफारिश करता है।
- प्रसारण जारी रहने और replay archive होने को दो अलग operational जरूरतों की तरह परखें।

Stream key, server और content rights सुरक्षित रखें
- Stream key: इसे password की तरह गोपनीय रखें। सार्वजनिक screenshot, terminal recording, source code या logs में न दिखाएं। संदेह हो कि key उजागर हो गई है, तो YouTube Studio में उसे बदलें और encoder में नई key अपडेट करें।
- Server access: SSH के लिए non-root sudo account इस्तेमाल करें। Broadcaster domain पर TLS लगाएं और critical port की पहुंच भरोसेमंद IP तक सीमित रखें।
- Visibility और preview: शुरू करने से पहले YouTube Studio में stream की visibility और preview जांचें।
- वीडियो और संगीत अधिकार: Loop में चल रहे हर वीडियो और संगीत के लिए आवश्यक अधिकार आपके पास होने चाहिए। YouTube की live content terms के तहत creator को दुनिया भर में Live Content के उपयोग के आवश्यक अधिकारों की पुष्टि करनी होती है, जिसमें कलाकारों, रिकॉर्ड लेबल, प्रकाशकों और अन्य royalty participants के music licensing rights शामिल हैं। Server पर file रखना अपने-आप उसे प्रसारित करने का अधिकार नहीं देता।
