To loop prerecorded yoga footage on a 24/7 YouTube Live stream, do two things: edit the video so its ending joins cleanly to its beginning, then send it to YouTube continuously with a local encoder or a cloud playout service. YouTube does not automatically repeat an uploaded video in a live broadcast. The loop point is an editing job; keeping the broadcast online is an encoder or service job.
What makes a yoga stream loop seamless?
A continuous YouTube broadcast and a seamless video loop are separate. The encoder sends a live feed to YouTube; the footage must be prepared so the final frame and sound lead naturally into the opening frame and sound. A stream can remain live while showing an obvious jump, and a perfectly edited loop cannot keep a broadcast running if its encoder stops.
For a single video, inspect its in-point and out-point in an editor and test the transition during playback. There is no universal edit setting that guarantees a seamless join: the result depends on the footage and audio. If you use a playlist, inspect every transition between clips, not only the end-to-start transition. Decide whether the order should stay fixed or be randomized, and check the joins that can occur in that order.
YouTube’s live encoder guidance covers sending a feed, not editing gapless loops. Check the current documentation for your editor or encoder’s exact loop controls rather than assuming YouTube will repeat the video.

- Compact but Powerful Design: ZowieBox is smaller than a phone, featuring a tally light and LCD screen for streaming status. Capture console gameplay in up to 4K with zero-lag HDMI passthrough, while the built-in video encoder converts video for IP streaming. The IP stream can also be decoded back to a 4K HDMI signal.
- Standalone Game Streaming: Just plug and play—ZowieBox enables PC-free live gaming without affecting gameplay. As an RTMP hardware encoder and HDMI streamer, it delivers stable streaming directly from your source, making it ideal for gaming, live events, and professional broadcasting.
- NDI|HX3 Converter Technology: ZowieBox converts HDMI signals to NDI|HX3/HX2/HX, functioning as an NDI video encoder, or NDI Video Decoder for flexible IP workflows. Certified NDI technology enables low-latency gameplay streaming through OBS/vMix. Note: Encoder and decoder modes cannot run simultaneously; full NDI signals are not supported.
- UVC to HDMI Conversion: Supporting up to 4K@30fps and 1080p@60fps decoding, ZowieBox enables flexible conversion for webcam and video workflows. As a video decoder and HDMI to IP converter, it expands connectivity options for professional video devices. Note: USB capture card functionality is not currently supported.
- All-around Configuration Options: Control ZowieBox through its web UI on a PC, phone, or tablet. Manage connected PTZ cameras, tally light, video/audio, OSD, work mode, streams, network, and system settings. Support for VISCA over IP encoder workflows enables flexible PTZ control, while the dashboard provides video preview and system status.
Check channel eligibility before preparing the broadcast
- Your channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- Allow up to 24 hours for live streaming to become available the first time you enable it, according to YouTube’s encoder setup guide.
- YouTube’s live-stream help page states limits of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. These are platform limits, not recommendations for a yoga broadcast. See YouTube’s live-stream help.
- Use video and audio that you have the rights to broadcast. Live content must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service; check the specific rights for any music, ambient sound, or footage. Start with YouTube’s live-streaming policies.
Set up a local computer encoder
This approach runs the media and encoder on your own computer. YouTube recognizes software encoders running on computers as one way to send a live feed; exact controls vary by software, so use the encoder’s current instructions for its media source and loop setting.
- Prepare and test the media. Edit the yoga video or playlist, set the encoder to repeat it, and play through the end-to-start join. Listen as well as watch; an audio click, silence, or abrupt change can make a visual loop feel unfinished.
- Create the YouTube broadcast. Open YouTube Studio, go to the Live Control Room, and create or schedule a stream. Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for that broadcast.
- Enter the connection details in the encoder. Add the video or playlist as the media source, enable the encoder’s loop behavior, and enter YouTube’s stream URL and key. YouTube describes stream keys as “like your YouTube stream’s password and address”; keep the key private. See YouTube’s stream settings guidance.
- Start the encoder and inspect the incoming preview. In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, check that the picture and audio arrive as expected before relying on the broadcast. Confirm the watch page is accessible from your channel and test playback on a phone as well as a computer.
- Keep the local setup available. For this method, the computer, encoder, power, and network connection must stay available for the duration of the stream. Monitor picture and sound, and if you are recording a local archive, confirm that its file is growing.
Monitor the stream and plan for long broadcasts
YouTube recommends testing the encoder setup, checking the Live Control Room preview, confirming that the event can be reached from channel and watch pages and on mobile, monitoring audio and video, and checking local archive-file growth. The steps are in YouTube’s streaming guidance.

Built-in OSD generator adds scrolling text, logos, or timestamps directly to the video stream — ideal for branding, event info, or security labeling. Backed by a 1-year warranty and 24/7 online technical support.
For a 24/7 broadcast, plan how you will manage viewer-facing broadcasts and recordings over time. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived; do not assume a single uninterrupted stream longer than that will have the same archive behavior. See YouTube’s archive guidance.
Latency is another operational choice. YouTube notes that lower latency can mean more playback buffering, and that lowering latency matters less when you are not interacting with viewers. For a prerecorded yoga stream, choose based on the viewing experience you want rather than treating the lowest latency as automatically best. See YouTube’s stream settings help.

- The video ends but the broadcast stops: Check that the encoder is configured to repeat the media and that its process is still running. YouTube receives the encoder feed; it does not automatically loop an uploaded video.
- The broadcast stays live but the image jumps at the loop point: Revisit the edit’s in-point and out-point, then test the encoded playback. The source footage may not support a clean join without editing.
- The audio clicks, cuts out, or changes abruptly: Listen closely to the transition and adjust the edit or audio transition in your editor, then test again through the encoder.
- YouTube shows no incoming picture: Confirm the stream URL and key in the encoder, verify the encoder is sending, and inspect the Live Control Room preview. If the key may have been exposed, reset it in YouTube and update the encoder; YouTube says an owner or manager can reset a compromised key.
- The stream is unavailable when you first try to go live: Check channel verification and live-stream restrictions. If live streaming was only just enabled, allow up to 24 hours for activation.
- The viewer experiences buffering: Check playback on the intended devices and review the latency setting. Lower latency may increase buffering, especially when viewer interaction is not needed.
- The archive is missing or incomplete: Check whether the broadcast exceeded 12 hours and plan recording and archive management accordingly; YouTube’s automatic archive statement applies to streams shorter than 12 hours.
Choose the setup that fits your yoga channel
A local encoder gives you direct control over the media and broadcast, but the computer, power, and network must remain available. YouTube’s encoder guide also lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming without a dedicated PC. If choosing a cloud provider, verify how it handles broadcast rotation and archives, since those details affect a continuous stream.
