One schedule or separate streams
A single recurring stream schedule works when the channel has one continuous programming identity. Separate scheduled streams can make sense when different blocks need distinct titles or audiences, provided you can maintain them consistently. Neither choice is established as a way to gain more viewers; use your own channel analytics to assess how viewers respond.
Enable YouTube Live and choose a streaming method

- Set the stream title and timing. Use a title and schedule that identify the daypart and the music clearly. State the time zone alongside start times wherever viewers might otherwise mistake local time for theirs.
- Prepare the program and rights before going live. Confirm that each recording and composition may be used in a live stream, and arrange any needed rights-holder allowlisting before the broadcast.

Clear music rights before putting a set on the schedule
Check rights for both the sound recording and the underlying composition as applicable. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content; a detected match can replace the stream with a placeholder image, and if the content remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream (YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams).
A licence alone may not prevent an interruption. YouTube says creators using licensed third-party content should ask the rights owner to add their channel to the Content ID allowlist, because a stream can still be interrupted without allowlisting. YouTube for Artists also recommends coordinating with the label or distributor when planning to use copyright-protected music in a live stream (YouTube Help; YouTube for Artists).

- Limiting a stream to certain locations does not by itself grant the rights required for live use.
- Keep records of permissions and confirm that the rights owner has allowlisted the channel when required.
Keep the schedule workable as it grows
Start with a manageable recurring schedule, publish the time zone with every listed start time, and review whether the actual programming remains consistent.
