Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsIf YouTube’s verification SMS has not arrived, wait a few minutes and request a voice call instead. YouTube says some mobile operators do not support Google’s texts or calls; if neither delivery method works, try a number from another operator. A phone number can be associated with no more than two channels per year. For an India-based channel, start verification in YouTube Studio or go to youtube.com/verify.
First check whether phone verification is the step you need
YouTube lists live streaming among the features unlocked by phone verification. In YouTube Studio, check your channel’s feature eligibility to confirm whether intermediate features are still pending. Channel restrictions can also affect access, so a missing verification code is not necessarily the only possible cause. See YouTube’s feature-access overview.
Try the code-delivery options
Request a voice call if the SMS is delayed
YouTube notes that SMS delivery can be delayed, including in densely populated areas or where an operator’s infrastructure is weak. If you have waited more than a few minutes, choose the voice-call option on the verification screen and listen for the code. YouTube’s guidance says: “If you’ve waited more than a few minutes and still haven’t received our text message, try the voice call option.” Read YouTube’s verification guidance.
If neither option works, consider operator support
Some operators do not support text messages or voice calls from Google. YouTube recommends trying a phone number from another operator if both delivery methods fail. Its official guidance does not identify which Indian operators support these messages or compare their delivery success rates, so there is no evidence-based carrier ranking to rely on.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Verify your India-based channel in YouTube Studio
- Sign in to YouTube Studio with the account that owns the channel.
- Open Settings → Channel → Feature eligibility.
- Under Intermediate features, select Verify phone number.
- Choose SMS or voice call, enter the number, and submit the six-digit code when it arrives.
You can also use youtube.com/verify, sign in, choose how to receive the code, and enter it on the page. YouTube’s India-based channel instructions describe the Studio route and explain that, once verified, the channel’s About page displays a “phone verified” label to YouTube users in India. YouTube says the label was introduced to comply with the Information Technology (Guidelines for Intermediaries and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. See YouTube’s India-based channel information.
Check the phone-number limit
YouTube allows a phone number to be associated with no more than two channels per year. If the verification flow says the maximum has been reached, use a different eligible number; requesting another code to the same number will not remove that limit.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
If you still cannot receive a code
- Try the voice-call option after waiting a few minutes for the SMS.
- If both SMS and voice call fail, try a number from another operator, as YouTube recommends.
- If YouTube reports that the number has reached its annual channel limit, use a different number.
- If these options do not resolve the issue, contact your mobile operator or YouTube support. YouTube’s public guidance does not provide an India-specific carrier list or individual delivery diagnosis.
Or let it run in the cloud
Phone verification unlocks access to live streaming; it does not itself keep a stream running. For a YouTube channel that should play uploaded videos continuously, StreamNeo is a separate option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It runs from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home; it streams your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo is for YouTube streams of uploaded videos, not camera broadcasts. Learn more at StreamNeo, or start your free day.
