Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →You can loop a prerecorded Telugu devotional video into a continuous YouTube live stream with FFmpeg, but -stream_loop -1 only repeats the file; it does not guarantee an uninterrupted broadcast. First enable YouTube live streaming, prepare a rights-cleared video, configure the encoder for YouTube’s ingest settings, and test the full setup before you publish.
Before you begin: YouTube access, source files and rights
Enable live streaming early
Your channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube says first-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your intended launch. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
Clear every part of the video and audio
Check rights for the specific recording, arrangement, performance and video—not just the underlying devotional composition. YouTube’s livestream terms require the content provider to have the rights needed for worldwide exploitation, including applicable music licensing rights. A devotional, traditional or public-domain label alone does not establish that a particular recording or video is cleared. Review YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions and comply with applicable laws.
Prepare a file that can loop cleanly
Choose a video whose ending can return to its beginning without an unwanted silence, abrupt cut or mismatched audio. If you plan to play several videos, assemble and check the sequence as a playlist or longer file first; the command below loops one input file. Keep the stream key private: treat it like a password, and do not put it in public scripts, screenshots or posts.

Create the YouTube stream and get its ingest details
- Open YouTube Studio and enter Live Control Room. Create or schedule a stream, following YouTube’s encoder setup guide.
- Copy the server URL and stream key shown for that stream. Enter them in your encoder. Use the current server URL shown in Studio rather than copying one from an old setup or example.
- Use RTMPS if your FFmpeg build and the server URL shown by YouTube support it. YouTube recommends RTMPS, which encrypts the connection. Do not publish the key or include it in a command you plan to share.
Choose output settings for the source and connection
YouTube’s current encoder guidance allows H.264, H.265 (HEVC) or AV1 video with RTMP/RTMPS ingest, frame rates up to 60 fps, and AAC or MP3 audio. It recommends constant bitrate (CBR) and a two-second keyframe interval; the interval must not exceed four seconds. Consult YouTube’s encoder settings and bitrate table for the exact bitrate matching your codec, resolution and frame rate.
| H.264 example | Recommended bitrate | Minimum bitrate |
|---|---|---|
| 720p30 | 8 Mbps | 3 Mbps |
| 720p60 | 8 Mbps | 3 Mbps |
| 1080p30 | 14 Mbps | Consult YouTube’s matching table |
These examples are for the stated H.264 resolution and frame rate; they are not universal targets for other codecs or formats. Use YouTube’s table for the complete matching recommendation. Choose a bitrate your upload connection can sustain, not merely one that matches the source’s theoretical maximum. YouTube’s streaming tips recommend leaving 20% bandwidth headroom. Count any backup encoder’s upload use too, and test sustained upload performance rather than relying only on your broadband plan’s advertised speed.

Build an adaptable FFmpeg loop command
FFmpeg documents -stream_loop -1 as infinite looping and -re (equivalent to -readrate 1) as reading a file at its native rate. The following is a template, not a tested, guaranteed YouTube recipe. Replace the placeholders privately with the input file and the exact ingest URL and key from Live Control Room; do not publish a real key.
ffmpeg -re -stream_loop -1 -i "input.mp4"
-map 0:v:0 -map 0:a?
-c:v libx264 -preset veryfast -b:v 8M -maxrate 8M -bufsize 16M
-r 30 -g 60 -keyint_min 60 -sc_threshold 0
-c:a aac -b:a 128k -ar 44100
-f flv "rtmps://SERVER/STREAM_KEY"
This example encodes H.264 at 720p30-oriented bitrate settings and uses a two-second GOP at 30 fps. It does not resize the input, so the actual output resolution follows the file unless you add a suitable filter. Check the source’s dimensions, frame rate, video and audio streams, and the settings YouTube shows for your chosen output. If you change frame rate, adjust the keyframe interval so it remains two seconds. Verify the RTMPS URL format supported by your ingest endpoint and FFmpeg build.

- PLUG IN AND HEAR SOUND IN SECONDS - USB Type-A connector with a 3.5mm stereo headphone output and a separate 3.5mm mono microphone input. No drivers, no software, no external power - the adapter is USB bus-powered and is recognized as a standard USB audio device.
- WORKS ON WINDOWS, MAC AND LINUX - Driverless on Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/7/8, Linux and Mac OSX, and compliant with the USB Audio Device Class 1.0 specification, so any system that supports class-compliant USB audio will see it. Select it as the sound output and input device after plugging it in.
- TWO JACKS, TWO JOBS - The green jack is stereo OUT for headphones or powered speakers; the pink jack is mono microphone IN for a 3.5mm mic. It does NOT support 4-pole headsets on a single combo plug, it does NOT power passive speakers, and it does NOT add surround sound - it is a stereo 2-channel adapter.
- FOR LAPTOPS AND DESKTOPS THAT NEED AN AUDIO PORT BACK - Adds a headphone and mic port to a laptop, desktop, or mini PC whose onboard jack has failed or was never there. Managed and work-issued computers can block new USB audio devices by policy - check with your IT department before ordering for a company machine.
- SABRENT SUPPORT AND WARRANTY - What is in the box: one USB audio sound adapter. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty, extended to 2 years when you register within 90 days on the manufacturer's website.
Mapping, codecs and audio options need adapting to the actual media and installed FFmpeg build. If the source already has compatible streams, transcoding may be unnecessary, but stream-copy settings require validation against the source and YouTube ingest requirements. The FFmpeg options above explain looping and real-time reading; they do not establish end-to-end compatibility for every file, build or account. See the FFmpeg documentation.
Test the broadcast before making it public
- Start with an unlisted test. Connect the encoder and check that Live Control Room receives the feed and shows a preview.
- Check picture and sound. Confirm the video moves, audio is present and correctly synchronized, and the stream-health panel does not report a problem.
- Check the viewer experience. Open the watch page and confirm playback on a phone as well as the channel page, as applicable. YouTube recommends setting up in advance and monitoring quality; see its live-streaming tips.
- Test the failure path. Observe what happens if the encoder process stops or the network briefly drops. Confirm your own restart or supervision procedure works before relying on the stream.
- Only then schedule or publish the intended event. Keep the key protected and monitor stream health after launch.
Plan for 24/7 reliability and replay archives
A looping input addresses repetition, not uptime. A 24/7 operation also depends on the machine or host staying powered, the network staying available, FFmpeg continuing to run, and someone or something detecting and recovering from failures. The cited YouTube and FFmpeg guidance does not specify a minimum machine configuration or guarantee that a particular reconnect flag will work in every setup. Build and test process supervision, alerts, key protection, and recovery around your own host and connection.

YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not rely on one uninterrupted all-day stream to produce a complete 24-hour replay. If a full archive matters, plan session boundaries under 12 hours or make a separate local recording, and verify the resulting replay behavior in your own channel.
