PRISM Live Studio’s documented playlist feature does not import a YouTube playlist URL. In PRISM Mobile, you can create a Video playlist from videos selected in the app, then use that saved playlist in a live stream. The documented steps apply to Android and iOS; they are not verified for PRISM’s desktop app.
Can you add a YouTube playlist URL to PRISM?
The official PRISM instructions describe creating a playlist inside PRISM from selected media. They do not provide a way to paste a YouTube playlist URL or import its contents. PRISM’s ability to broadcast to YouTube is a separate feature: it sends your PRISM live broadcast to YouTube, rather than importing YouTube-hosted videos as playlist items.
If you want a playlist to play in PRISM, use video files available in your device gallery and create a Video playlist in PRISM Mobile. The official getting-started guide describes Media as retrieving videos from the mobile device’s gallery.

These instructions are for PRISM Mobile on Android and iOS, following PRISM Live Studio’s “Using Media Playlist” guide.

- Open My Studio. In PRISM Mobile, go to My Studio.
- Open Playlist. Tap Playlist and create a Video playlist.
- Select the videos. Choose the videos you want to include, then create the playlist. For this documented workflow, use video files available through your device’s gallery.
- Arrange playback if needed. Adjust the order of playlist items, or seek to a particular position in a video if you want playback to begin later in that item.
- Reuse the saved playlist. PRISM stores the playlist as one item in My Studio, where you can use it again.
PRISM Live Studio’s “Using Media Playlist” guide says: “You can create playlists with videos and music within the PRISM app and use them in live streaming.” This describes playlists assembled in PRISM, not the import of a YouTube playlist.
Keep playlist creation separate from streaming to YouTube

Do not treat a YouTube playlist link as a PRISM media source: the reviewed PRISM instructions do not establish a URL-import workflow or an authorized way to transfer YouTube-hosted videos into a PRISM playlist.

Playback limits and unavailable controls
PRISM’s mobile Source Usage Limit Guide lists video playlists among playback features and says playback sources such as music, video, and playlists cannot be used together. Source combinations and limits vary by device platform and streaming mode. If Playlist is unavailable, or you are trying to combine it with another playback source, check PRISM’s current Source Usage Limit Guide for your platform and mode.
The playlist procedure above is documented for PRISM Mobile on Android and iOS. The cited instructions do not establish the same steps for the desktop app, nor do they specify that every YouTube playlist or YouTube-hosted video can be imported.
