Among the four services compared here, none is documented as offering an ongoing free plan that supports continuous 24/7 YouTube streaming. What counts as a free plan for 24/7 streaming?
Three different offers are easy to confuse:
- Ongoing free plan: an account can remain on a no-cost tier indefinitely, subject to its limits.
- Free trial: access is free for a specified period, after which the offer ends or a paid plan may be needed.
- Free 24/7 plan: the free access must actually permit continuous streaming for the intended YouTube use case. A free tier that allows only short prerecorded broadcasts or a limited number of monthly hours does not qualify.
For a continuous prerecorded stream, check not just whether a provider has a free tier, but whether that tier permits looping or playlists, supports the desired duration, allows YouTube as a destination, and includes enough storage and output quality for the videos you plan to run.
What each provider documents
1. StreamNeo: a no-card trial, not an ongoing free plan
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos or a playlist. Its homepage advertises a 24-hour trial with no card required and one YouTube stream. That is a temporary trial, not evidence of an indefinitely free plan. The service runs the stream in the cloud, so the browser can be closed and the computer turned off after setup.

Gyre’s pricing page lists a free trial lasting seven days and streaming hours marked 24/7. This indicates trial access to the service’s 24/7 streaming use case; it does not document an ongoing free plan. Check the current trial terms and what happens when the seven days end before relying on it for a channel schedule.

3. OneStream Live: an indefinite Free plan with limits that rule out this use case
OneStream Live’s help article, “Is OneStream Live Free to Use?”, says its Free plan is available indefinitely. The article lists a 15-minute limit for prerecorded streams and a one-hour limit for real-time streams, along with two simultaneous destinations, a 720p ceiling, 1 GB of storage, and no playlist streaming on Free. Those limits do not support continuous prerecorded looping on that tier.
For its separate 24/7 feature, OneStream Live’s help article, “How to Start 24/7 Live Streaming?”, says: “24/7 streaming is exclusive to YouTube and requires an Enterprise plan.” The article was last updated September 3, 2026, and says a configured 24/7 run can last up to 30 days. Its pricing page also displays a $30/month 24-hour YouTube streaming add-on. Because the help article explicitly states the Enterprise requirement while the pricing page presents an add-on, do not assume the add-on alone makes 24/7 streaming available on every paid tier; confirm eligibility with OneStream Live for the account and plan in question.

4. StreamYard: a Free plan, but not for prerecorded live streaming
StreamYard’s Free-plan streaming limits document limited streaming hours per month. Its Free-plan feature limits state that prerecorded live streaming is unavailable on Free. The existence of a no-cost tier therefore does not make it a documented free option for continuous prerecorded YouTube streaming.
How to choose if you need a no-cost start
- Need to test cloud-based YouTube looping briefly? StreamNeo’s trial is 24 hours and does not require a card; Gyre lists a seven-day trial. Compare the current conditions and the length of access that suits your test.
- Need an indefinitely free account? OneStream Live documents an indefinite Free plan, but its listed limits do not fit continuous prerecorded looping. StreamYard also has a Free plan, but excludes prerecorded live streaming and limits monthly streaming hours.
- Need actual 24/7 operation beyond a trial? Confirm that the specific paid plan includes continuous YouTube streaming, playlist or looping support, and enough storage and output quality. Do not treat a free-plan label or a trial’s 24/7 capability as proof of perpetual free access.
Provider terms can change. Before setting a channel schedule around an offer, confirm the current plan page and, where eligibility is ambiguous, ask the provider directly.
