2. Gyre: cloud playlist streaming with plan-dependent limits
YouTube’s encoder guidance describes Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 live streaming of prerecorded videos on YouTube. Gyre’s own page describes arranging videos into a looping playlist and running encoding and delivery through its cloud service, with no dedicated playback hardware. Its plan-dependent limits include storage, simultaneous streams and resolution. Compare the plan details against your channel count and output needs rather than assuming every plan includes the same capacity. See Gyre’s current product details.
3. OneStream Live: check the 24/7 eligibility and duration
OneStream Live’s help page says its 24/7 feature is exclusive to YouTube, requires Enterprise, accepts videos from local or cloud storage, and has a maximum duration of 30 days. That duration makes it important to distinguish a long scheduled broadcast from an indefinitely looping channel. The pricing page’s $30/month listing for a 24-hour YouTube stream does not by itself settle whether that offer applies to the Enterprise-only feature described in help documentation. Ask OneStream to confirm the plan, duration and total price for your intended use before purchasing.

4. playout.video: consider it when production needs go beyond a loop
playout.video describes always-on cloud channels as well as browser-based production and multistreaming. Those additional capabilities may be useful if you need more than a rotating YouTube playlist, but its page’s descriptions are vendor claims rather than comparative performance results. Check the current plan and destination support for the specific workflow you want.
How to choose for your channel
- Want a simple YouTube loop and minimal hardware responsibility? Compare StreamNeo and Gyre first, checking storage, resolution and concurrent-stream limits against your actual playlist.

- Running several channels? Compare the per-plan concurrent stream allowance and storage model, then verify the price for all required streams rather than comparing entry-level prices.
- Need high-resolution playback? Confirm the exact plan’s output resolution and frame rate, and whether uploads are transcoded. StreamNeo says uploads stream as made up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot; Gyre’s resolution options are plan-dependent.
Keep the channel compliant and the stream operational
A cloud loop removes the need to keep your own playback computer running, but it does not remove your responsibility for the content or YouTube channel. Use videos you own or have permission to stream, and check music, footage and other rights included in every file. A continuous prerecorded broadcast should also be clearly distinguished from a live camera feed; a service that loops uploads does not make the underlying recording live.
