Yes. VPS providers serving India including RupeeCloud and Inservers state that they accept UPI. Those are provider-listed payment options, not independently verified checkout results, so confirm UPI availability, taxes, renewal terms and refunds before you pay. A VPS is optional for YouTube: its standard encoder workflow connects directly to Live Control Room with a stream URL and key.
Which VPS providers say they accept UPI?
RupeeCloud lists UPI, cards and net banking, and says its plans are billed in Indian rupees. Its page showed plans starting at ₹949 per month plus 18% GST; the Nano plan was listed with 2 vCores, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps port. These prices and specifications can change. The provider’s latency and uptime figures are its own claims, not independent measurements. Check RupeeCloud’s current VPS details.
Inservers lists UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and cryptocurrency. Its streaming VPS page showed an entry plan at ₹880 per month and describes hosting an Nginx RTMP relay. Price, performance, bandwidth and customer-review statements on the page are provider-published claims. Check Inservers’ current streaming VPS details.
Hostinger describes one-click deployment of Restreamer for distributing a source to YouTube and other platforms, but the reviewed page does not establish that UPI is available at checkout for a particular account. Do not treat it as a confirmed UPI option without checking the payment screen. See Hostinger’s Restreamer VPS information.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
What to check before paying
- Confirm UPI is actually offered in checkout for the plan and account you are buying; provider payment methods may change.
- Check the total due, including GST, the billing interval, renewal amount, refund terms and any bandwidth or fair-use limits.
- Compare server location and route to your encoder and intended audience. An India location alone does not guarantee lower latency or a more stable stream for every route.
- Match CPU and RAM to the workload. Forwarding an already encoded stream as a relay is different from transcoding video, which needs more compute.
- Check what technical support and backups are included and how much server setup and maintenance you must handle yourself.
A listed 1 Gbps port is not a guarantee of stable end-to-end YouTube ingestion. Actual results depend on the configured stream and network path, so test and monitor stream health.
Do you need a VPS to stream to YouTube?
No. YouTube’s encoder workflow uses the server URL and stream key shown in Live Control Room; an encoder on your own computer can send directly to YouTube. A VPS is an optional relay or place to host streaming software when you need remote operation or distribution to multiple destinations. YouTube’s encoder setup instructions describe the direct workflow. YouTube notes that enabling live streaming for the first time may take up to 24 hours, so check account readiness before scheduling. Its help page says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived.

Configure and test the YouTube stream
- Enable and prepare the channel. Open YouTube Live Control Room, follow the current live-stream setup flow and allow for up to 24 hours of initial activation if streaming has not been enabled before.
- Copy the destination details. In Live Control Room, obtain the server URL and stream key, then enter them in the encoder. Keep the key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a broadcast to that destination. Do not expose it in screenshots, logs or public server configuration.
- Prefer RTMPS when supported. YouTube recommends RTMPS, which it describes as RTMP over TLS/SSL. Reveal and copy the RTMPS URL in Live Control Room. If troubleshooting protocol or port settings, YouTube says the protocol should be
rtmpsand suggests port 443 where relevant. See YouTube’s RTMPS guidance. - Set the encoder for the intended output. YouTube’s settings guidance lists H.264, H.265/HEVC and AV1, frame rates up to 60 fps, constant bitrate (CBR), and a recommended two-second keyframe interval that should not exceed four seconds. For H.264, its listed recommended bitrates are 10 Mbps for 1080p at 30 fps and 12 Mbps for 1080p at 60 fps. These are YouTube’s guidance; check its current table and your encoder’s available settings at YouTube’s encoder settings page.
- Test the complete path. Send a private or unlisted test with representative audio and video movement, check YouTube’s stream health messages, and confirm playback before relying on the VPS for a scheduled event. YouTube specifically recommends testing before going live and monitoring stream health during the event.
Common problems and what to check
- UPI is missing at checkout: Recheck the selected plan and current payment screen, then ask the provider whether UPI is available for that purchase and renewal. Do not assume a website’s general payment list guarantees every checkout option.
- YouTube does not receive the stream: Verify that the encoder has the current server URL and stream key, that the stream key is not mistyped or revoked, and that the connection uses the intended protocol. Do not publish the key while seeking help.
- RTMPS connection fails: Confirm the URL uses the
rtmpsprotocol and review YouTube’s port guidance, including port 443 where relevant. Also check firewall rules and the VPS application’s configuration. - Stream health is poor or playback stalls: Check the encoder’s bitrate and output settings against YouTube’s recommendations, then test the configured network path. A port-speed claim by a provider does not establish sustained performance to YouTube.
- The first scheduled live event cannot start: Confirm that live streaming is enabled on the YouTube account and allow for the initial activation period noted by YouTube.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is to keep uploaded videos looping on a YouTube channel 24/7, a VPS is not the only option. StreamNeo runs that uploaded-video stream in the cloud: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Each slot streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo is for uploaded videos on YouTube, not camera streaming. Start the free day with StreamNeo.
