If you want to broadcast relaxation video to viewers live, you must start a separate YouTube live broadcast. The right method depends on whether you want continuous playback for yourself or an actual live channel.
Looping a playlist is playback, not a live broadcast
YouTube’s playlist Loop or Repeat control repeats videos for a viewer. YouTube describes live streaming separately as a real-time video feed with audience interaction. Turning on Loop therefore does not start a broadcast or make a playlist appear live to other viewers.
| Your goal | What happens | What to use | Main caveat |
|---|---|---|---|
| Watch relaxation videos continuously | Videos in the playlist repeat during playback. | The playlist’s Loop or Repeat control. | Autoplay may prompt you to continue after a device-specific interval. |
| Broadcast a relaxation stream live | A live video feed is sent to YouTube. | Start a separate YouTube live stream; an encoder is one available method. | Looping a viewer playlist does not start the broadcast. |

How to loop a YouTube playlist
On a computer
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist.
- Expand the playlist panel.
- Click Loop in the playlist box. YouTube says the playlist will repeat continuously.
On Android
- Start playing the playlist.
- Tap Loop in the playlist control box below the video.
- If you tap Loop again, the setting changes to repeat only the current video.
On a TV or game console
- Start the playlist and open the playback controls.
- Select Repeat until the control indicates Repeat • Playlist.
These are viewer playback controls, and the exact interface may change. The cited YouTube Help pages were accessed on October 3, 2026, and did not state a publication date.

What happens if playback is unattended?
If playback depends on autoplay, YouTube says it may ask “Continue watching?” after uninterrupted viewing. Its documented intervals are 30 minutes on mobile, 60 minutes on the web, and 180 minutes on TV. These intervals describe the autoplay prompt; they should not be treated as guaranteed interruptions to manually looped playback.

How to make the playlist a real relaxation live stream
Start a separate broadcast through YouTube’s live-streaming workflow. YouTube lists mobile, webcam, and encoder methods. An encoder is an option for creators who want to send a live feed; it is not needed just to loop a playlist as a viewer. YouTube recommends professional-grade hardware encoders for higher-production-value events, but that is guidance for that kind of production, not a general requirement for going live.

When a stream ends
A replay is not guaranteed. YouTube says a channel may post highlights or a replay after a live stream ends; when available, replays appear as videos on the channel.
