Consider Dacast for live production and simulcasting
Dacast’s documented fit is an encoder-driven live broadcast that you want to deliver to YouTube and other destinations, with live-video recording or hosted video delivery as part of the workflow. Its simulcasting capability should not be treated as proof that it can repeatedly play prerecorded video around the clock.
For true ongoing operation, require proof of loop and recovery behavior
If your goal is a channel that keeps broadcasting prerecorded material beyond a single scheduled event, ask any provider to confirm in writing: supported source format, playlist behavior, maximum session duration, whether it restarts automatically, what happens if YouTube disconnects it, and which plan includes the feature. What you need to stream through YouTube
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Its guidance says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so complete activation well before the planned broadcast. YouTube’s encoder setup uses a stream URL and stream key; follow the chosen service’s current instructions for entering those credentials. Do not share the stream key, since it lets someone broadcast to your channel.
Before going live, test the setup, inspect the preview and stream health, check audio and video, and confirm that viewers can reach the event. Keep a separate recording if you need a dependable copy of the full programme: YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, but you should not count on a complete automatic archive for a longer continuous broadcast. DVR rewind may also be limited or unavailable for very long streams, including streams over 12 hours.

Costs and limits to check before buying
The available product documentation does not provide comparable current prices for the exact use case of continuous prerecorded YouTube streaming. Restream says looping is a paid feature and that features vary by plan; Dacast describes plan-based pricing, but the cited materials do not identify a plan and price for an unattended prerecorded loop. Compare the plan that actually includes the required workflow—not headline pricing—and ask Dacast directly whether it supports this use case before purchasing.
