What Holmes said in her September 28 post
Holmes opened her post with: “I was silenced for a long time. And then imprisoned.” She said she was “fighting to prove my innocence and come home to my babies and the love of my life,” referring to her children and partner, Billy Evans. These are her claims and words, not a change to the court’s verdicts.
Holmes also said loved ones had helped manage her account. She announced that posts written in her own words would be signed “-EAH”; posts without that signature would come from the account team. Complex reported that Holmes gave her own count as 1,216 days and nights imprisoned. That is her stated count, not an independently verified calculation.
Why the post is drawing attention now
The post preceded the reported theatrical release of You Can See Everything, an A24 documentary by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. Variety reported that Holmes and Evans invited the filmmakers into their home before her sentence, and that the filmmakers documented their lives. The film made a surprise debut at the Telluride Film Festival.

The DOJ’s summary of trial evidence said Theranos’s analyzer did not produce accurate and reliable results at the level Holmes claimed.
