You can make it public in channel settings; it then appears on your YouTube Music channel page and refreshes daily. Because the mix reflects listening activity, making it public shares more than a fixed playlist.
What YouTube Music’s Personal Mix is
“Personal Radio” was the name used in the August 12, 2024 report about the feature. YouTube’s current help page calls it your personal mix: an automatically generated, playlist-like selection informed by recent top artists and songs. It is not live radio or a station you program by hand, and its contents can change as your listening activity changes.
The sharing function is documented now, rather than simply announced as a future rollout. Personal mixes are private by default; you choose whether to make yours public.
How to make your Personal Mix public
- Open the YouTube Music app and select your profile icon.
- Choose Settings.
- Open Privacy & location, then Channel settings.
- Turn on Share your personal mix. Depending on the interface or language, the control may instead read Enable public personal mix.
- Confirm the change if the app asks you to.
YouTube’s documented route is in the Personal Mix and statistics help page. Labels can vary by interface version or language.

What becomes visible when you share it
When public, the mix appears on your YouTube Music channel page and anyone can view it. To find your own page in the app, select your profile icon and choose Your Channel. The mix is a changing picture of your music taste, not a curated list whose contents stay fixed. YouTube confirms the channel-page placement; the current help page does not describe a universal, permanent station-link workflow, so check the live app before relying on a direct link.
If you would rather not expose that changing snapshot, return to Profile → Settings → Privacy & location → Channel settings and turn off the personal-mix sharing control. YouTube also documents Advanced Privacy Settings for selectively hiding individual statistics after enabling public statistics.

Why the mix may include unexpected music
YouTube says the mix and related statistics draw on watch history across YouTube services, not just plays inside the YouTube Music app. For example, watching music videos on the main YouTube service can affect the music-related activity reflected in YouTube Music. The mix refreshes daily, so a listen should not be expected to change it immediately.
YouTube says private and unlisted playlists are not publicly displayed in the channel’s public “On repeat” statistics. They may still appear in your own private view of your channel page. This visibility rule is not a claim that private activity can never affect recommendations or personalization.

Personal Mix vs. Custom Mix vs. Recap

Privacy and practical limits
- Public means anyone can view it: enable sharing only if you are comfortable making a current, evolving snapshot of your music taste visible on your channel.
- The source of activity is broader than the app: YouTube viewing history can help shape the mix, so unexpected selections may reflect music-video viewing.
- The refresh is daily, not immediate: YouTube does not promise that each new listen will instantly recalculate the mix.
- A missing toggle is not proof of a universal outage: the label or placement may differ by interface or language; the cited documentation does not establish a complete device- or region-availability matrix.
- Premium eligibility is not settled by the cited current help page: it explains sharing controls but does not say whether Premium is required. The 2024 report said it was not required at that time, but that secondary report does not establish current account-level policy.
For conventional sharing of songs, albums, playlists, and podcasts, YouTube Music has separate sharing instructions. That workflow is distinct from making a Personal Mix public in channel settings.
