The Chrome Dino’s new YouTube Skater Accessory Pack is a real physical collectible: it contains a miniature YouTube-themed skateboard and a tiny decorative boombox. It does not include the Chrome Dino figure, and the boombox does not play music. The accessories were introduced through Google merchandise coverage in May 2025.
What is in the YouTube Skater Accessory Pack?
| Item | Included? | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube-themed miniature skateboard | Yes | Display accessory designed for the Chrome Dino collectible |
| Miniature boombox | Yes | Decorative prop that can stand alone or be held by the Dino |
| Chrome Dino figure | No | Must be purchased separately |
Product coverage identifies the set as the YouTube Skater Accessory Pack. Promotional images can show the accessories mounted on the dinosaur, so check the package description carefully before ordering.
Is the boombox functional?
No. The boombox is a small display piece, not a speaker, Bluetooth device, battery-powered toy or music player. Its retro styling is a visual joke about boombox culture and an imagined early-era YouTube Music aesthetic, as described by Yanko Design.
What is the Chrome Dino set?
The accessory pack is intended for Dead Zebra’s separate Chrome Dino collectible. The character is the T-Rex from Chrome’s offline game, which appears when the browser detects no internet connection. The game began as a Chrome offline experience in 2014 and became one of the browser’s most recognizable mascots; the physical set turns that digital character into a desk display.

- Package Dimensions: 5 L x 11 H x 11 W (inches)
- Package Weight: 1.98 pounds
- Country of Origin : China
The standard set includes the Dino, cactus pieces inspired by the game, and a display presentation referencing the browser’s offline/error screen. Dead Zebra lists the approximate specifications as follows:
- Dinosaur: about 3 inches tall, 3 inches long and 1 inch deep
- Cacti: approximately 2–3 inches tall
- Materials: ABS plastic and acrylic
- Box: approximately 10 inches wide, 4½ inches tall and 1¾ inches deep
- Audience: ages 15 and up; small connecting parts and sharp edges are noted
The product is associated with designer Andrew Bell and production by Dyzplastic. See the Dead Zebra Chrome Dino Set page for the maker’s specifications.
Why does YouTube appear on a Chrome collectible?
The design combines two Google-owned visual identities: Chrome’s offline T-Rex and YouTube’s entertainment branding. The skateboard and boombox add a playful skater-and-music theme to a character usually shown running through a pixel desert. This is branded physical merchandise, not a Chrome browser feature; the skateboard does not change the offline game or unlock YouTube content.

Neither figure should be treated as a guaranteed current checkout price.
Can you still buy it?
Current availability is uncertain. As of August 18, 2026, the YouTube Skater Accessory Pack could not be confirmed from the surfaced official-store listings. The standard Chrome Dino page shows a $29 listing and a low-stock message, while a separate Dead Zebra notification page says the initial stock sold out. Treat the live checkout page as decisive and verify that both products are available before paying.

Bottom line for buyers
The headline describes a complete display arrangement, not a single box containing a dinosaur. The YouTube Skater Accessory Pack supplies the tiny skateboard and decorative boombox, while the Chrome Dino must be bought separately. It is a collectible for fans of Chrome, YouTube and Dead Zebra—not a working audio toy or software feature—and its current availability should be checked directly with the official seller.
