There is no dependable single subscription carrying every Batman film. In U.S. listings checked between July 1 and August 1, 2026, Max has most of the major live-action run. The 1949 serial is free with ads on Fawesome, the 1966 film is listed on fuboTV and digital stores, and some titles require a rental, purchase, disc, or a fresh availability check.
This guide defines “every” clearly, shows the confirmed routes, and separates subscriptions from rentals and free services. Streaming rights change, so verify each title immediately before you start.

What counts as “every Batman movie”?
The phrase can mean several different catalogs. The core list below covers Batman-centered feature films and the two theatrical serials. Animated features, crossover films and villain-led films are listed separately so they are not confused with the main solo-film marathon.
- Core: the 1943 and 1949 serials, the 1966 feature, and the live-action solo films from 1989 through 2022.
- Animated expansion: films such as Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman: Year One and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.
- Broader DC expansion: Batman v Superman, Justice League, The Flash, Joker and other ensemble or villain-centered movies.

#1 Best Overall
The quickest subscription-first marathon
Start with Max for the eight-title block currently listed there:
- Batman (1989)
- Batman Returns (1992)
- Batman Forever (1995)
- Batman & Robin (1997)
- Batman Begins (2005)
- The Dark Knight (2008)
- The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
- The Batman (2022)
Listings also show Max through the Max Amazon Channel, and some titles through YouTube TV. Those are different billing arrangements; confirm that your plan includes the film and the quality level you want.
Confirmed U.S. availability for the core list
Checked: listings updated between July 1 and August 1, 2026. Availability is temporary and U.S.-specific. “Rent/buy” means a separate transaction, even when the retailer is Amazon or another service you already use.

The entries that need extra planning
The 1943 serial
The 1943 serial was not verified in the available U.S. listings. Do not assume that it is on Max or Fawesome. Search by the exact title and year, and consider a licensed disc or specialty archive only after confirming a current source.
The 1949 serial
Batman and Robin (1949) is a 15-chapter serial, not a standard feature. Fawesome is the verified free, ad-supported route in the checked listing. Playback may be split into chapters and may include advertisements.
The 1966 film
Batman: The Movie is not the complete 1966 television series. The checked listing showed fuboTV through September 1, 2026, plus rentals or purchases from Amazon Video, Apple TV Store and Fandango at Home. A fuboTV trial can require payment details and auto-renew; check the trial length, renewal price and cancellation deadline.
Rank #3
Animated films
Availability for Mask of the Phantasm, The Dark Knight Returns, The Killing Joke, Year One, Under the Red Hood, Gotham Knight, Assault on Arkham and The LEGO Batman Movie was not established by the checked listings. Treat each as a separate title search. Do not assume that a live-action Batman subscription includes animated films.
Which route is cheapest?
For the main live-action run
One month of Max is usually the lowest-friction approach if you can finish the eight listed films before the next billing date. Some checked listings displayed a $10.99 monthly signal, but plans and prices can change.

Rent rather than add a full subscription when only one or two films are absent. Checked U.S. listings commonly showed rentals around $3.99; The Batman (2022) appeared at $5.99 on some retailers. Purchase examples ranged from about $4.99 to $9.99, depending on retailer, format and promotion.
Rank #4
- Batman: Death In The Family
For the 1966 film specifically
fuboTV was shown with a seven-day trial followed by $32.99 per month, while a digital rental was commonly about $3.99. A trial is economical only if you need other fuboTV programming or can cancel before renewal.
For long-term access
Digital purchases keep access in a retailer account under that retailer’s license terms; they are not unrestricted video files. Blu-ray or 4K Blu-ray is more dependable for titles that rotate off streaming and may include extras or alternate presentations, but requires a compatible player and higher upfront cost.

Optional DC and villain-centered additions
If your definition includes movies in which Batman is important but not the sole subject, add Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016), Justice League (2017), Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021), The Flash (2023), Joker (2019), Joker: Folie à Deux (2024), and selected LEGO crossover films. These are not part of the core solo-film table, and each requires its own current availability check.
How to recheck a title before pressing play
- Search the exact title plus release year; this prevents confusion between Batman (1966) and Batman (1989), or Batman and Robin (1949) and Batman & Robin (1997).
- Confirm the result is the film, not a television series, a two-part edit or a similarly named animated program.
- Read the transaction label: free with ads, included with a subscription, channel add-on, rent, buy or disc.
- Check the expiration date, territory and video format. The 1966 listing’s September 1, 2026 end date illustrates how quickly a route can disappear.
- Check every film before beginning a time-sensitive marathon; a license can change while you are midway through the list.
Bottom line: For U.S. viewers, Max plus a small number of rentals is currently the most practical legal route. Fawesome fills the verified free 1949 serial, fuboTV or a digital rental covers the 1966 film while listed, and the 1943 serial and several animated titles require separate verification. No single service reliably contains every Batman movie.
