There is no single nationwide FS1 channel number on Spectrum. The number depends on your service address, local lineup, package and sometimes whether you are viewing standard-definition or HD service. Open Spectrum’s Channel Lineup, enter your address or ZIP code, and search for FS1 or FOX Sports 1.
How to find FS1 on Spectrum
Use Spectrum’s online lineup
- Open Spectrum’s official Channel Lineup page.
- Enter the service street address, apartment or unit information, and ZIP code when requested.
- Search for FS1. If it is not found, search for FOX Sports 1.
- Record the listed SD and/or HD channel number.
- Make sure the result is filtered to your actual Spectrum TV package, not just the channels offered in the area.
Spectrum asks for location information because channel availability and numbering vary by area. A number published for another city is not a reliable answer for your home.
Use the on-screen guide
- Press Guide on your Spectrum remote or open the guide on your Xumo Stream Box or receiver.
- Search for FS1 or FOX Sports 1.
- If guide search is unavailable, browse the sports category or enter the number shown in your local Spectrum lineup.
- Check both HD and SD entries where your equipment displays both.
Button names and menu layouts can differ among Spectrum receivers, Xumo devices and app versions.
Use the Spectrum TV App
Open the Spectrum TV App, go to its live guide or channel search, and look for FS1. The channel will play only when your account and location are authorized for it. Spectrum describes its TV plans and app access at Spectrum TV plans.

Why your FS1 number may differ from someone else’s
- Service area: Different cities and franchise systems use different channel maps.
- HD versus SD: The same network can have separate listings.
- Plan and add-ons: A channel may appear in an area lineup but not be included in your subscription.
- Account type: Residential, business and enterprise lineups are not interchangeable.
- Lineup changes: Spectrum can revise channel assignments after programming or system changes.
- Legacy plans: Older or grandfathered packages may have different entitlements from current plans.
Older web pages sometimes cite numbers such as 32, 75, 150 or 400. Those figures may describe one historical market, a former Bright House or Time Warner Cable system, or one particular HD tier. For example, an old Central Florida business PDF lists FOX Sports 1 on channel 32; it is not evidence of a current nationwide residential listing (Central Florida lineup PDF).
Is FS1 included in your Spectrum package?
Do not assume that every product labeled “Spectrum TV” includes FS1. Spectrum currently markets several tiers, including TV Stream, TV Select Signature, TV Select Plus, TV Platinum, TV Stream Latino and Mi Plan Latino. Eligibility can depend on the exact tier, location, sports add-ons, account type and any legacy terms. Spectrum also states that channel availability varies by location (plans and channel information).

Use the lineup tool with your address, then compare the result with the channels included in your account. A channel listed in a general local guide is not proof that your subscription authorizes it. Check your account or contact Spectrum before upgrading; an upgrade may not be necessary if FS1 is already included.
FS1 is missing: a practical troubleshooting sequence
- Re-enter the exact service address or ZIP code in Spectrum’s lineup tool.
- Search under both names: FS1 and FOX Sports 1.
- Confirm the account’s current package and any sports add-on.
- Restart the Spectrum receiver or Xumo Stream Box and allow the guide to reload.
- In the Spectrum TV App, sign out, close the app, reopen it and sign back in.
- Verify that the device is on an authorized Spectrum home network when the service requires that connection.
- Check whether the event is subject to a temporary blackout, territorial restriction or changed broadcast rights.
- Contact Spectrum support if FS1 is shown as part of your subscribed lineup but remains locked or absent.
A missing channel is not always a technical fault. Package authorization, market rules, device access and programming rights can all produce the same symptom.

Can you stream FS1 with Spectrum?
Spectrum TV App
If FS1 is authorized on your Spectrum account, the Spectrum TV App may provide live viewing on supported phones, tablets, browsers and connected-TV devices. App availability and channel presentation can differ from a traditional receiver guide, but both depend on account authorization. See Spectrum’s TV overview at Spectrum cable TV.
FOX Sports App
FOX Sports says viewers generally must receive FS1 or FS2 through an eligible pay-TV lineup to use the FOX Sports App for those channels. It is therefore an authenticated extension of qualifying TV service, not a guaranteed free standalone replacement. Verify requirements at FOX Sports’ FS1 finder.

FOX One and other app entitlements
Spectrum advertises FOX One among the apps included with certain current TV plans. That app entitlement is separate from the local linear FS1 channel listing: it does not establish your channel number, guarantee every event, or remove regional and rights restrictions.
What can you watch on FS1?
FOX Sports programming on FS1 may include college football and basketball, MLB, NASCAR, soccer, PBC boxing, USGA events and studio shows. Schedules and rights change, and a particular game may instead be on FOX, FS2, a regional sports network or a streaming service. Check the current FS1 schedule before assuming an event is available on this channel.

FS1, FOX and FS2 are not the same channel
- FS1: FOX Sports’ national sports network.
- FS2: A separate FOX Sports network with its own lineup and authorization requirements.
- FOX: The broadcast network, whose local affiliate has a different channel number.
- FOX Deportes and regional networks: Separate services that may carry different events or require different packages.
Searching the wrong network name can make an available event appear to be missing.
Which option fits your situation?
| Need | Best first step | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Find the channel number | Use Spectrum’s address-based lineup | No nationwide number exists |
| Watch without a cable box | Use the Spectrum TV App if FS1 is authorized | Requires an eligible Spectrum TV account and supported device |
| Watch on FOX Sports’ app | Authenticate with a qualifying TV provider account | FOX Sports requires the channel in the provider lineup |
| Get a missing channel added | Check your package and available sports options with Spectrum | Eligibility and pricing vary by location and account |
Bottom line
Find FS1 through Spectrum’s official location-based lineup rather than relying on a national channel list. Search for both “FS1” and “FOX Sports 1,” verify your package and HD/SD listing, then use the Spectrum TV App or FOX Sports App only when your account is authorized for the network.
