The global announcement covered series, films and games, and Netflix cautioned that it was not a complete list. As of August 18, several headline series have already premiered; Outer Banks Season 5 is next on August 20, while other major shows remain dated only to a season or the broader 2026 window.
This guide separates shows that are already streaming from titles still to come, and distinguishes exact dates from less specific Netflix windows. “Biggest” here is an editorial selection based on established audiences, franchise importance, prominent creators or casts, release proximity and the specificity of the confirmation—not an official Netflix ranking.

Bridgerton Season 4
The fourth season arrived in two parts: January 29 and February 26. Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton is at the center of the season, including his relationship with the mysterious Lady in Silver. It is therefore one returning season with two launch dates, not a single January premiere.

Netflix’s May 14 upfront expanded the 2026-and-beyond conversation with announcements and renewals including The Retrievals, Barbaric, Myron Bolitar, Calabasas and an untitled Nick Cannon docuseries. It also renewed Love Is Blind, Big Mistakes, My Life With the Walter Boys, Quarterback and Running Point.
That presentation also highlighted 3 Body Problem Season 2, America’s Sweethearts: The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Season 3, Black Doves Season 2, Emily in Paris Season 6 and The Diplomat Season 4. These are slate announcements or renewals, not proof that each title has a locked 2026 premiere date.

How Netflix release times work
Netflix says original shows and films typically become available globally at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time. That is 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time in the United States, but it should not be treated as a guarantee for every program.
- Check the title’s Coming Soon entry or details page for a special launch time.
- Weekly episodes and programs linked to a broadcast schedule can use different timing.
- Non-original titles may appear according to local availability rules.
- If a release does not appear immediately, refresh the app, browser or device.
Availability and timing can vary by country, even when Netflix describes the slate as global. Verify the local title page before planning a watch party.
What is—and is not—confirmed
- Exact date confirmed: Bridgerton Season 4’s two parts, ONE PIECE Season 2, Sweet Magnolias Season 5, Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 and Outer Banks Season 5.
- Season confirmed: Lupin Season 4 is scheduled for fall 2026.
- Year confirmed: The Gentlemen Season 2, Pride and Prejudice, Sesame Street and Seven Dials.
- Announced but not fully dated: several May upfront titles and renewals described as part of Netflix’s 2026-and-beyond slate.
Netflix says its January list was not comprehensive and that more titles would follow. Release dates can also move, so this is an evolving calendar rather than a promise that every announced project will arrive on its current window.
