Why does Season 2 have only six episodes?
Hawley said the writers’ room initially planned for eight episodes, but Netflix later told the team to make six. In a January 2025 interview with Deadline, syndicated by Yahoo Entertainment, he recalled: “Originally, we had come in for the writers room with the idea that we were going to do eight, and then, ultimately, Netflix reached out to say six.”

All six episodes were available to stream when Season 2 premiered on January 30, 2025. Netflix Tudum lists the season’s six episode titles, and Netflix’s series listing confirms the season is streaming. There is no evidence in these sources that two additional episodes were scheduled to arrive later.
