Weapons is already out. Zach Cregger’s horror-thriller opened in US theaters and IMAX on August 8, 2025, after international releases began August 6. Warner Bros. Japan lists digital purchase and rental from February 13, 2026, and a Blu-ray + DVD edition from March 18, 2026; those home-video dates apply to Japan, not automatically to the United States or other territories.

Warner Bros. released Weapons | Official Trailer 2 on June 23, 2025. Its official synopsis asks what happens when almost every child in a class disappears at exactly the same time.
What is Weapons about?
The film follows a community shaken when all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on one night. The Warner Bros. Japan synopsis adds specific details: at 2:17 a.m., 17 children wake up, leave their homes without speaking and disappear. Alex is the only child left behind.

Japanese Blu-ray and DVD details
Warner Bros. Japan lists a two-disc Blu-ray + DVD set. The Blu-ray is presented in 1080p with English audio and Japanese and English SDH subtitles; the DVD listing gives the same audio and subtitle languages. The page also lists a rental-only DVD. These are Japanese-market editions, so verify the disc region, seller, subtitles and stock before buying.
