There is no verified, platform-wide T-Mobile–Paramount+ redemption outage as of August 18, 2026. Customers are encountering claim and activation errors, but T-Mobile’s documented eligibility rules, existing-subscription restrictions and account-specific redemption paths can produce the same symptoms. Start by identifying which promotion you have, then redeem it through the qualifying T-Mobile Home Internet account—without opening a second paid Paramount+ subscription.
Current status: difficult claims, but no confirmed universal outage
Customer complaints about missing benefits, eligibility messages and failed activation do not by themselves establish an outage. No credible official notice currently confirms a broad Paramount+ redemption failure affecting T-Mobile users on August 16–18, 2026. A genuine outage would normally show a consistent error for eligible customers across T-Life and T-Mobile.com, an identifiable start time and scope, or an acknowledgment from T-Mobile or Paramount+.
Until that evidence appears, treat the problem first as a promotion, account or subscription-transition issue. Recheck the signed-in account and qualifying line before assuming the app or service is down.

“T-Mobile Paramount+ promo” can refer to several different offers with different rules:

Do not apply the old code or 12-month terms to the current Home Internet benefit. Marketing pages and search results may also mention Paramount+ without meaning that your specific plan includes it.
Who can claim the current Home Internet benefit?
T-Mobile’s current support instructions tie Paramount+ Essential ON US for Internet to eligible All-In Home Internet service. The documented flow requires:
- A T-Mobile ID signed in to the qualifying account
- Primary Account Holder status
- The eligible All-In Home Internet line selected
- No conflicting active Paramount+ subscription
- Service in an available U.S. location; the cited instructions exclude Puerto Rico
This is not an automatic benefit for every T-Mobile wireless customer. Check the benefits and add-ons shown after signing in. T-Mobile’s plan information identifies Paramount+ Essential ON US for eligible All-In customers: All-In plan details. Redeem through the correct T-Mobile path
T-Life app
- Open T-Life and select Account.
- Choose My plans, then Manage add-ons.
- Select Pick a line and choose the All-In Home Internet line.
- Under Account-level services, select Paramount+ ON US INT.
- Select Continue, review the order and choose Agree & Submit.
- Open Third-Party service terms, select Start Activation and finish Paramount+ registration.
T-Mobile.com
- Sign in to T-Mobile.com with the T-Mobile ID and select View Account.
- Choose Shared Add-ons, then Manage add-ons.
- Make sure the eligible All-In Home Internet line is selected.
- In Services, choose Paramount+ Essential ON US for Internet (or the equivalent label displayed on your account).
- Select Continue, then Agree & Submit.
- Open Third-Party service terms, select Start Activation and complete Paramount+ registration.
Labels can differ as T-Life and the website change. Use the equivalent service label actually shown on your account rather than selecting a wireless or secondary line.
SMS or email activation
Adding eligible Home Internet service may trigger an activation message to the Primary Account Holder. T-Mobile says SMS may be used when the account has both wireless and Internet service, while email may be used for Internet-only customers. Open the original message while signed in to the matching T-Mobile account; avoid searching for a generic Paramount+ signup page.
Why activation fails
An existing subscription is still active
If Paramount+ bills you directly, T-Mobile says to cancel that subscription before redeeming the benefit. Apple, Google, Roku or another intermediary may continue access until the paid billing period ends, so cancellation of renewal does not necessarily make the account immediately eligible. Wait until the third-party subscription is inactive.

The wrong line or user is selected
The service is account-level but requires the qualifying Home Internet line. Selecting a wireless, secondary or otherwise ineligible line can hide the service or produce an eligibility error. Authorized users who are not the Primary Account Holder may also be unable to complete activation.

The plan or offer is not attached to the account
A generic promotion page, old article or T-Life marketing card does not prove that your plan qualifies. If Paramount+ is absent from the signed-in add-ons and benefits area, the issue is more likely plan eligibility, targeting or account synchronization than a Paramount+ streaming outage.
The offer has different or expired terms
Historical code promotions could have redemption deadlines and recurring billing after the free period. Those conditions do not establish the terms of the current Home Internet benefit. Verify the offer name and deadline shown in your own T-Mobile account.

A session or interface problem is blocking the flow
These steps are procedural remedies, not confirmation of a known app bug:
- Sign out of T-Life and sign back in with the Primary Account Holder’s T-Mobile ID.
- Update T-Life through the device’s official app store.
- Try T-Mobile.com in a current browser if the app fails, or the app if the website fails.
- Temporarily disable an ad blocker or privacy extension.
- Use the original SMS or email activation link.
- Check that the browser is not signed in to a different T-Mobile ID or Paramount+ account.
- Do not create a separate paid Paramount+ subscription while troubleshooting.
A practical decision tree
- Have you got eligible All-In Home Internet? If not, the current Home Internet benefit may not apply.
- Are you the Primary Account Holder? If not, ask that person to redeem it.
- Do you have Paramount+ now? Cancel direct billing and wait for inactivity; for third-party billing, wait until the billing period ends.
- Is the benefit visible in T-Life or T-Mobile.com? If not, contact T-Mobile about eligibility, plan attachment or account sync.
- Did T-Mobile activation complete but Paramount+ fail? Contact Paramount+ and retain the completed-activation screen and error text.
Could you be charged?
Billing depends on who owns the subscription:

T-Mobile warns that upgrading the complimentary Home Internet plan can end the free benefit and leave you responsible for resulting subscription fees. Do not upgrade solely to fix activation until you understand the billing change. Likewise, activating on a second Paramount+ account can split viewing history and create duplicate charges.
Contact the company that controls the failed step
Contact T-Mobile first when:
- The benefit is missing from T-Life or T-Mobile.com.
- You cannot select the qualifying Home Internet line.
- T-Mobile marks an apparently qualifying account ineligible.
- The activation SMS or email never arrives.
- The T-Mobile add-on appears but fails before Paramount+ registration.

Contact Paramount+ when:
- T-Mobile activation completed but Paramount+ registration or login fails.
- The activated account has no expected content access or shows the wrong plan.
- Paramount+ charged you directly.
- The problem concerns passwords, playback or Paramount+ account management.
Use Paramount+ support at help.paramountplus.com. Include the Paramount+ email address, activation time and screenshots, but do not send passwords.
What would prove a real outage?
Escalate the issue as a possible service incident when eligible users report the same failure across both redemption paths, the error has a consistent start time and geography, and T-Mobile or Paramount+ acknowledges it. A single ineligible-account message, a still-active subscription or a failure limited to one app session is not enough to establish a platform-wide outage.
Status update
Updated August 18, 2026: Customers may be encountering Paramount+ claim and activation problems, but no confirmed universal T-Mobile–Paramount+ redemption outage is established in the available official information. T-Mobile’s Home Internet support page remains the procedural authority: Paramount+ Essential ON US for Internet instructions.

Check the qualifying All-In Home Internet line, Primary Account Holder status and existing Paramount+ billing before treating the error as an outage. Use T-Mobile for missing or ineligible benefits; use Paramount+ after T-Mobile activation has completed.
