If you’re looking for Apple Music Replay 2025 in August 2026, the first question is whether Replay is broken or Apple Music is showing a newer year. Replay uses your listening history, play counts, and listening time; Apple says it appears after you’ve played “enough” music but does not publish a minimum number of plays or hours. Try both the Apple Music app and Replay on the web before changing settings.
These fixes cover a missing Replay card, a blank page, incomplete statistics, and an absent 2025 playlist. They can help identify account, history, app, or connection problems—but enabling listening history now cannot be relied on to reconstruct plays Apple Music did not record in 2025.

Quick check: Open Apple Music and go to Home > Replay: Your Top Music, or visit replay.music.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account tied to your subscription. Then check listening history on every device you use, confirm the account, and update your software.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems1. Open Replay from the right place—and check the web version
In Apple Music, choose Home, scroll to Replay: Your Top Music, then select Go back in time. You can also open replay.music.apple.com, sign in with the Apple Account used for Apple Music, and select Jump In. Apple’s Replay instructions describe both routes.

Since it is now 2026, Apple Music may foreground a newer eligible Replay rather than the 2025 recap. Apple says previous-year Replay playlists can be found in the Replay area, but that does not guarantee that every older year’s full statistics or highlight experience will remain available on every account. Apple’s developer documentation describes its Replay-data endpoint as returning the latest eligible year, not as a consumer archive with an arbitrary year picker. Treat a newer year appearing as a possible historical-view limitation, not proof that your 2025 data has been deleted.
If Replay works on the web but not in the app, focus on the app or device in fix 5. If neither route shows Replay, continue with eligibility, account, and listening-history checks.
2. Turn on Use Listening History on every device
This is the most important setting to check. Apple says Replay is based on listening history, play counts, and listening time, and instructs users to enable Use Listening History on all devices used for Apple Music.

Check each device you used, not just the one where Replay is missing. If this setting was off for part of 2025, those plays may be absent from the recap. Turning it on now helps track listening going forward; Apple does not promise that it will backfill previously unrecorded plays.

3. Confirm you’re using the Apple Account tied to Apple Music
Replay on the web requires the Apple Account associated with the Apple Music subscription. Compare the account signed in to Apple Music on your device with the account used at replay.music.apple.com. If you have multiple Apple Accounts, try the one that actually holds the subscription; the account used for App Store purchases may not be the one currently used for Apple Music.
Family Sharing does not make one person’s listening history stand in for everyone else’s. Each family member should check Replay while signed in to the Apple Account they use for Apple Music. If a household member has been listening under a different account, that could explain why the expected history is missing from yours.
If the account is correct and the subscription is active, go on to check history settings and the app state rather than signing out of every Apple service or changing account details unnecessarily.

Apple recommends updating device software before accessing Replay. Install the latest available operating-system update for your device, and update Apple Music where it is distributed as a separate app. On Windows, check for updates to Apple Music through its app distribution channel. Restart the device after installing updates, then try Replay again.

Apple’s guidance refers to the latest software rather than a fixed minimum version, so there is no specific version number to target here. If you cannot update immediately, test the web version in a current browser to see whether the issue is limited to the app.
5. Refresh the app or browser session
A blank page or repeated sign-in loop can be a local app, browser, or authentication problem rather than missing Replay data. Try these steps in order:
- Close Apple Music completely and reopen it. Restart the device if the page is still stuck.
- Open Replay in a different current browser, then try a private or incognito window.
- Temporarily disable extensions that block scripts, cookies, or pop-ups. If the page keeps looping, clear site data for Apple’s music domains and sign in again.
- On Android, clear the Apple Music app cache from the device’s app settings.
- Only after checking the account and listening-history settings, consider repairing or reinstalling the app on Windows or another platform.
These steps can resolve a local loading or sign-in issue. Clearing a cache or reinstalling an app cannot recreate listening history missing from Apple’s account data.

6. Test your connection and temporarily remove network interference
If Replay will not load, switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data or try another Wi-Fi network. Temporarily turn off a VPN, network-level ad blocker, or third-party security filter, then reload Replay. Apple’s connection troubleshooting guidance recommends checking internet access, trying another device or network, and reviewing VPN or security software when Apple services will not connect.

If other websites and Apple Music features work but Replay alone does not, a broad connection failure is less likely. That points you back toward account association, history, eligibility, or a Replay-specific problem.

Confirm that your Apple Music subscription is active and that Apple Music is available in your country or region. Availability can vary by region. If you cannot sign in or multiple Apple services are failing, check Apple’s System Status page and try again after any listed issue is resolved.
Do not change your Apple Account country or region just to make Replay appear. Apple’s region-change guidance lists account requirements and possible effects on subscriptions, balances, and content availability. A region change is not a routine Replay troubleshooting step.

Contact Apple Support if you have checked the account and active subscription, enabled Use Listening History on your Apple Music devices, updated software, and tested Replay on both the app and the website—yet Replay is still missing or clearly incorrect. Include:
- Your device model and operating-system version, plus the Apple Music app version if available.
- The Apple Account used for the Apple Music subscription.
- Whether Use Listening History was enabled during 2025 and on which devices.
- Whether Replay works in another browser or on another device.
- Screenshots of the problem and roughly when it began.
There is no public Apple eligibility threshold to verify yourself, and Apple does not promise recovery of listening that was never recorded. Avoid unofficial “Replay recovery” sites or tools that ask for your Apple Account password. The official Replay site and Apple Support are the appropriate routes for an account-level issue.
If Replay 2025 is still missing: identify what is actually absent
- No Replay appears anywhere: Check listening history, account, subscription, and whether you had enough recorded listening. Apple does not state a numeric threshold.
- Replay loads on the web but not in the app: Treat it as a local app or device issue and work through the update and refresh steps.
- The 2025 playlist exists but its statistics do not: Playlists and statistics are distinct Replay surfaces; their presence or update timing need not match. Check the web version and ask Apple Support if you believe data is missing.
- Replay appears but seems incomplete: Check whether history was disabled on a device, whether you listened under another account, and whether offline listening has synchronized. Apple does not publish detailed counting rules for every playback situation, so avoid assuming that a particular skip, download, or audio format must count in a specific way.
- Only a newer year appears: Look in the Replay area for previous-year playlists. Full historical statistics may not be available in the same way as the latest Replay; Apple’s documentation does not guarantee indefinite access to every prior recap.
Replay is a summary derived from Apple Music listening history, play counts, and listening time—not a promise that every play will appear instantly or that all devices update at exactly the same time. Monthly insights may be available to eligible listeners, while the year-end recap includes broader listening highlights. The exact threshold and detailed weighting rules are not publicly specified.
